happiness shows up in my life if I get an undisturbed night's sleep
if I finish a project and the recipient likes it
if the boys ask for seconds when I've put a lot of effort into a meal
if the Mr goes for a few days without losing it about anything
if I get a message from my daughter who lives overseas
how it feels in my body?
I have more energy, I feel "lighter", my jaw unclenches, I need less to distract my mind from worry, I get more talkative.

@cloudcore love your small happiness moments, something to think about for myself.
Havent really thought of this before, just being content and relaxed.

I feel physically lighter, more energetic and engaged when I'm happy.

@cloudcore it shows up in my life when I look at my daughter or when I am in meditation that place of stillness and absolute peace.

Hi @cloudcore
In repsonse to the question how does happiness feels in my body.. I think the answer will be enlightened and free..
Sadness, anger and/or anxiety makes me eat more and I experience really bad dandruff .. I know it weird but I know that Im not ok when I have bad dandruff.
So when I am happy or content, my scalp is free from dandruff, my asthma is controlled and therfore I am free to breathe and I feel enlightened as I have achieve my Zen..
xx

How does happiness feel physically in your body?
I've been dwelling on this question for a couple days now, because I find it so strange. I didn't think happiness was something you felt in the physical sense. To me, it's always been something that just exists in the mind and/or soul - your non-corporeal part.
Sometimes, on very rare occasions, when I get laughing really, really hard - as in, to the point where I can't breathe - I get lightheaded and close to blacking out. But otherwise, I just can't relate to feeling happiness in the body.

Hi @chibam , your experience with happiness is valid too. There was a stretch of time in my journey with depression when many emotions, including happiness, existed in my mind and had no physical effect in my body. Whether or not that is the situation for you, just know you're not alone in that experience.
