Re: HAPPY NEW YEAR 2025
Happy New Year! to all my forum friends and new ones I might make this year...
@Shaz51 @Oaktree @Glisten @PeppyPatti @MJG017 @BPDSurvivor @tyme @rav3n @Ru-bee @Jynx @Healandlove @ArraDreaming @creative_writer and anyone else who might want to get to know me/us!
I'm writing this from my hospital desk...was admitted yesterday. My psychiatrist calls this not an 'admission', but a reset. This is especially true, as eight weeks ago, I was not well enough for admission to an open, private ward. Now I am.
I have been given well-wishes from my colleagues and friends, those close enough to be privy to parts of my struggles.
This image resonates with me at this point in time:
I have made positive changes in the last part of 2024, and now commit to continuing in this positive trajectory.
As I observe and reflect, my romantic and parental relationships contained some toxic aspects, which I have begun to work (chip at) hard to change.
Given that my partner has now ghosted me for 8 weeks, I decided to move on last week.
I moved out of the family home for the third time. I'm not looking back.
2025...here I come!

Re: HAPPY NEW YEAR 2025
Happy new year @Spirit_Healer! It sounds like you are really focused on looking forward, and I think that is such a postive way to improve anything. Keep being you and 2025 is looking brighter every day. I'd say good luck but it appears it's just resilience and strength at work here.. It never hurts to have a bit though so 'good luck' to you.

Re: HAPPY NEW YEAR 2025
Thank you, @creative_writer @Shaz51 @MJG017 for your support!
It's been a lovely New Year's Day here, with lots of sunshine and not too hot, too.
We had a Yoga and Sound therapy teacher run our groups this morning, she brought childrens' bubbles and wands for us to learn to focus on our breathing, and then taught us some 'cooling breaths' from yoga (Praniyama breathing) as well. It was really good. I'm glad there was a staff member to run groups on the public holiday.
