Re: Good Morning!

The frustration of not knowing how to do something. I hear you, @tonys. I live alone and am forced to find my way through everything or go without. I generally manage to find my way by consulting youtube videos...how to do x etc. There's bound to be a video on my problem or one I can adapt. It's generally a great help. You're a powerhouse without the Uni, @tonys; with it you'd have been dangerous.

As for AI, a lot of people who know about these things aren't worried, so I'm not going to either. We'll just have to wait to see how it will evolve. I understand it has limitations. Time will tell.

Re: Good Morning!

@saturnzoon hope things go well. Take care.

Re: Good Morning!

what did the doctor say about your stomach , @saturnzoon ? I hope you can avoid the heat a bit.

Re: Good Morning!

Hey @saturnzoon

Sorry to hear you're not well. By your post I think you didn't get a chance to see a Dr yet?

Hope you're feeling better and can escape some of the coming heat!

Re: Good Morning!

@tonys  excellent I put a smile on your face and gave you a giggle.

A deep sea tube-worm lives up to 1000 years.

The average human life span is about 81 - 85 years.

Our eyeballs are stupidly designed, it sees things upside down and our brain has to unscramble the image.

Your question about AI. I don’t have an opinion. It’s a waste of my time thinking about that topic because by comparison, violence against women is something that effects everyone directly and I can contribute to changing that just by speaking out.

Re: Good Morning!

Glad you are feeling better this afternoon @saturnzoon I have slept a lot the last few days but feeling much better today - sometimes we need that time to rest. The last couple of weeks at work were extremely hectic - and having both Christmas and my Mum's birthday so soon after breaking up for the year meant I could not rest until after it was all done.

I hope you can get some respite from the expected hot weather. We are only expected low 20s all week so it will be perfect to get outside if I can manage it.

Re: Good Morning!

@tonys like many I tend to think AI is an trans-humanist occultic trap.  Lots of people are being lured into it under the guise of being a better version of themselves but in doing so they lose their connection to their own Daimon or creative spirit.

Have heard from other commentators AI's entry points are through people's trauma and soul fragmentation leading you to an endpoint where technocracy enslaves your soul.  Its much better to have your own unique creative spirit than to have your soul harvested through artificial means and used for a technocratic takeover by elite hostile forces.

The technocrats ultimately want man merging with the machine and AI is the starting point.

AI is also an amalgam of the past, its datasets are from history and will not launch you into your future self. It won't tell you anything about the future as it draws from the past. You want something totally original to launch you into a new space of being. This is the way of progress - progress always replaces something old with something better. AI does not achieve this as its an accumulator of historical facets and nothing more.

BTW I have seen audio protection files created to insulate people against the negative consequences of AI on the internet to stop this type soul harvesting and body snatching as its a tool of the technocratic elite. I won't be doing AI but rather possess a healthy sense of self and draw from my own well of creativity.

Re: Good Morning!

You tube @Historylover   My saviour.  I have fixed heaps of things with it.    And fried a few too,  but your so right mate.   Its like a friend in the dark.   Now,    we both know there's a whole lot of BS and quicksand on there too,    but  I kind of like that too.   It has me busting stiches with laughter at times.

As for Putting the brakes on AI.   Well I'm in the curious to see what happens camp,   but pressed to a discission,  I honestly  can't decide.   Thats why I ask so many people for there views on it,  and they always come back with something,  left of field,  I didn't think of.

I think the philosophers, and  artists,  and historians views are all as important as the scientists, in this next big step for mankind.   I'm edge of seat,  excited..

Hi @saturnzoon .   Mate, I'm sorry your unwell and doing it so tough in the heat.   Its so important to keep cool if you are unwell and hydrated.   Pad and fan and mist is great to a point,    But . . .

You really need refrigerated air with run away heat waves.   Wish I knew how to help.  Poured through heaps on the internet about  tiny air cons after the last time we spoke.

I did pic up a cheap, portable black n decker air con from bunnings for my old camper  a few years back,  rigged up a twin pipe vent system and it really does turn a small room into a fridge.  Saves lives.  Its an essential service.  I know how tight your budget is.   Can your doctor and  Centrelink  get together.  Clutching at straws here.    Worried about you mate.

Please keep in touch.

@StuF   Well just got through  Emancipation,   with Will Smith n Ben foster.   Last frame at the end damaged me.     Its about slavery.    True story.

Well hope you all had a stellar day.   Goodnight All  @Glisten   @TAB  @Former-Member  @Appleblossom   @Meowmy   and the weary from unpacking

@MDT ,   and @Oaktree  little smile chum,  thats better.                                   tonys..
