Hi @Former-Member
How did your day turn out?
I went to Canasta Club for the first time this morning, only one other person showed up. Lucky I didn’t get stuck sitting there waiting on my own. Also luckily I had taken some cards to use.
I also went and met someone from a social club I joined 12 days ago. So far I have already done 4 coffee outings with this group. I am glad that I have stepped outside my comfort zone and am trying something new. I really do need to make more friends as I only have a couple. I had a nice time this afternoon.
Now I am going to sit down and do some of my puzzle.

Hi @TAB
I have never played Eucre but I have heard of it. Yes you are right though, Canasta is played with two decks. I watched two tutorials about how to play on YouTube then downloaded an app to practice. I still need to work out the strategy side of the game. Sorry about the weather for your return to WA. It’s a bit sad these last few days. Silly cyclone! I bet you are looking forward to moving into your new house! So exciting. I hope that you have had a good day.

Good morning @TAB @Oaktree @Meowmy @Former-Member Just back in from an early morning walk. It was so invigorating, now doing energy practices and then resistance bands training. The weather in Melbourne is inclement, took out my brolly and was all rugged up.
I have old knits that probably need de-pilling to make them come up looking brand new. Its incredible what you can do with a de-piller. My infinity scarf is looking a bit worn. Have started doing a morning meditation that creates heart brain coherence - its designed specifically for that. Found it on you tube. Here are the benefits of heart/brain coherence:

Hi @Former-Member. So impressed you walked this morning.
It rained all night over here and is still continuing. I'm laying in bed reading my book and slept in this morning.
I will walk today though.
Had a busy day yesterday cooking and cleaning.
I will watch your Utube video shortly.
Enjoy your Sunday 💕💜💕.

Good morning @Former-Member @Former-Member @TAB @Oaktree @Meowmy @StuF @MDT @Shaz51 @Snowie @tonys @Emelia8 @hanami @Paperdaisy @tyme @amber22 @Clawde @Appleblossom @Faith-and-Hope and all forumites here. I hope your Monday is going well for you and they you are safe and well.
As for me, my MH has been causing some issues and I’ve had some personal issues going on as well which is why I haven’t been on the forums lately. I’m still dealing with these issues and have had my housemate in hospital since Wednesday due to an arm infection which hasn’t helped either. I’ve been having trouble feeling connected and I feel like I’m a burden because I have MH issues. My allocated case manager has pretty much said she doesn’t know how to help me as she can’t find any MH workers to help me in my location of Victoria which is slack on her behalf I believe. I think she just wants to get rid of me from the service which hasn’t been much of a help to me to be honest as she thinks she can’t do much for me. I’m even struggling to see how a mental health worker would help me and I’m even questioning myself with me studying my mental health course in regards to what type of job I’d get out of it. I just want to complete the course and then maybe study diversional therapy so I can get a job in an aged care home. I’m just so mixed up right now.
Thanks for reading this.
Take care and stay safe.

Hiya @Judi9877
Sorry to hear things are 'not the best' at the moment.
I hope your housemate is OK!
I can relate to the not feeling connected and/or being a burden...varies in intensity, but yeah, not great.
Shame about your case manager...sounds frustrating, at the least!
It must be hard to push through those doubts about the end result of your course...but, from what you have said previously, it is something important to you, so I hope you can continue and complete 🙂
You take care and stay safe too
