Yes more cleaning @StuF I did research sleeping bags several months back because I thought it would be too expensive to run an electric blanket in winter. Had to do lots of investigation. You really need one that fits your size (I'm a big lady) and heats below zero degrees. Had to ask experts, read reviews and check all the specifications because wanted something that would suit my needs. Anyway got this Coleman brand one and its like a damn oven, no joke. So I'm covered in that department with cold weather. But this summer is going to be really extreme going by news reports

So nice to hear from you, @Former-Member. I was thinking about doing a bit of tidying up too. Sounds like you're getting on top of these power bills. The only thing I could save money on is hot water, which is the greatest expense. I usually watch television each night, and as I hate lights shining when I'm watching, I have nil electricity outlay for lights each night. I walk about by the light of my television!
I think the last time we chatted, I mentioned I had some plants coming up in my pots that I hadn't been able to identify. They hadn't come out of my seed packets, so I assumed they must've been from my spice rack — chillies perhaps. They've just self-identified as snapdragons which is kind of nice. Incorrectly packaged, I guess.
I hope all is well with you @Former-Member. Sending best wishes and good cheer.

Thats good @Historylover glad you're keeping your bills within your means. You could always turn your thermostat down on your hot water system? I few points lower on the thermostat = massive savings. On my old system it was easy for me to do but on these new systems you really need a plumber to do it.
Your pots would be nice to add color to your space. I used to have snapdragons. My garden is now is full of native plants. I'm weeding my vegie patch at the moment and enjoying the harvest. The silverbeet was amazing, same with the beetroot.
I hope you have a good day! Wishing you well

Hi @TAB. Hope you enjoyed your walk. Catching up on 😴 is always a good thing. You must have needed it. I'm sure you are probably still recovering from your procedure. Often the general anaesthetics take all of us quite a while to recover from.
I've been sleeping a lot too. It's like hibernating for winter it's been so dam cold 🥶 here in Melbourne.
Hope you have a pleasant evening.

Oh they are so pretty @Former-Member 😊.
Hope your cleaning went well.

It's been cold again today hasn't it ? Can't wait for some nice weather again.

Hello @Former-Member good to see you on here. I don't remember the last time I ever did an instore grocery shop for my weekly food! I don't have a car & I tend to rely on home delivery with a subscription so it works out cheaper and convenient. I was told recently by Woolworths I've saved hundreds on delivery that way since it began. Yeah got some cleaning done, just enough for one day. Went for a WALK! lol 😉 got caught up in some rain but had my puffer jacket on. And now just planning my day for tomorrow. Yes those lamps are pretty. I used to have stake ones for the garden but these will be used indoors to cut back on indoor lighting costs with rising electricity prices

How great. Saving $$$ on groceries. I have used Woolies off and on. But am pescatarian and am better off going to the green grocer and buying fish fresh.
Pleased you enjoyed your walk. I'm a bit silly packed up all my winter clothes on the last hot day we had as I am limited for cupboard space.
I sometimes walk in local shopping centre when it rains.
Been a relatively lazy day today.
Was supposed to catch up with a friend tonight as they are sick need to reschedule.
Enjoy your evening @Former-Member.
