Know what you mean about the doctors.  Its a long drive for you mate.  27 min at night !.  Oh bro.

@Former-Member    Truth about me is I'm a waste disposal unit.  You've got me ticking the healthy choice boxes on the breaky menu.  Thankyou..      The wind down from pain meds has begun.  I have a chunk of wood on the end of a chain to gnaw on.   Its the south side of fun,   but has to be done..

Hi @Oaktree,   How have you been.  Not still hosing down after Christmas I hope.  Must have been wonderful with all your family close.    We will have to cook up some new yarn for the other thread after new years.  T2guns needs a permanent stomping on.    Have you started your book yet or still gathering Ideas.

I've been doing some preparedness today and invested in a camping chemical toilet if the grid goes down. Was checking them out back in September had a chat with the online customer service discussing my individual requirements and as of today got 30% off. Have taken screen shots of all the sani-dumping points for my chemical toilet in Melbourne that are fairly local. Got the places addresses and contact details printed at Officeworks. Tomorrow will be storing more water in containers and also dehydrating a stack of frozen vegetables which would be almost up to useby date for medium term storage.

I would have thought the same about it @TAB but was wrong after reading a book on sanitation. They have what is called sullage points at camping sites but no sanitation in cities can be a real problem and produce disease like 3rd world countries have. We live in a fortunate country being so far removed from anything like that. Had to read a book on 3rd world countries and the lack of sanitation to realise.

@Former-Member  apologies for dropping in. Vision board 🙌🏼 is there anything you don’t do? ❤️😁 I haven’t done a vision board in 30 years, and now I’m feeling regret about it.

Maybe it could have made a difference. Will never know.

They say that less than 80 people have half the worlds wealth. They are having way to much fun living beyond our dreams and controlling the rest of us to ever give the nod on all out atomic exchange.  Working out just how little we can live  in slavery,  on,   and still think were happy,  and their golf handicap are all that concerns them.   So I hope all your planning is just for a big camping trip and not doomsday dreaming.   Then again,  what the hell do I know.!  

On a lighter note,   I just have to ask in case I get a chemical toilet,  When you say, "discussions regards your personal requirements"  does that involve a tape measure and scales.

I know @tonys TMI lol! I'm into preparedness so not planning a camping trip! Us folk get a lot of criticism for our beliefs because we live in the lucky country...Would like to envision a better world but it seems like everything is becoming more dystopian by the day. A news reader on CBS said a few days ago that the USA would be facing a "Black Swan" event in 2024 citing "geopolitical factors" recently. A Black Swan event is an unpredictable out of the ordinary event the public is not prepared for.  9/11 falls in that category, civil strife, wars, natural disasters etc. I think it would have wider ramifications globally. I saw an analysis by an astrologer and he seemed to indicate things would get worse before they got better in that country. Australia isn't much different but people here have always enjoyed ease
