Re: Good Morning!

Hey @Glisten how are you going?  I am including the champagne mocktail recipe if you want it. Its surprisingly tasty. I omit the maple syrup as it will spike my blood sugar - its optional but I imagine it would make it even sweeter.

Just making some apple chips sprinkled with cinnamon and ginger atm. I can't have regular chips but prefer this anyway for the taste alone. Wouldn't want to go back to a bag of fried chips with lots of salt ever again.

How have your Chrissie celebrations been? I hope you've had a good day. Its raining a lot here in Melbourne.

Re: Good Morning!

Hey @Glisten ..   Sent my Christmas post on Christmas thread,  But I wanted to thank you specially for

a beautiful letter you sent to me a few days back. I'm a bit out of action regards typing till mid Jan but still read the posts that come through so thankyou my friend. That letter soared up inside me.

Re: Good Morning!

@tonys Merry Christmas Tonys. Take care

Re: Good Morning!

Hello @tonys nice to hear from you! I hope you enjoyed a good day today.  Its been lovely where I'm at. No news to report really - just glad to hear you're doing well. I'm about to go for a walk.  You would think it was the middle of winter here - I'm grabbing my puffer jacket to head off?! Not long now my friend and you will be your usual self. You've been through quite an ordeal in patient care. I'm hoping you can find your feet soon and start going back to living the life you choose to live once again out of rehab. The best wishes of the season to you, sending all my love.

Nothing beats the bight of brisk breeze @SmilingGecko .   Specially after all the heat.  I'm lucky to have your friendship and treasure it.  Back with gusto next year to relish all your recipes and bask in your exuberance.  If a large Manhattan mushroom cloud,  lights up the western sky I'll know you've split

the hyaluronic acid atom my very dear friend.

Re: Good Morning!

Oh dear you're so funny @tonys! It was cold and wet outside. Don't know about splitting the hyaluronic atom but hey did make the serum recently. It was so easy. Just waiting in my fridge to be used. I think you will like hyaluronic serum and what it can do for your skin. I had no idea what a highway robbery the commercial brands were! Anyway you're obviously in good spirits there which is good. Just think of all the things you can get up to when you escape from hospital! I'm glad youre doing well. Please take care good care of yourself. In the meantime I'm aligning my hara just in case something gets detonated here, like a nuclear bomb lol

Re: Good Morning!

@SmilingGecko  Thank you so much for the mocktail recipe. I’m going to make your mocktails tomorrow for Boxmas.

Had so much fun doing family stuff last night. Not enough sleep.

Opened Christmas presents with the grandchildren 6am.

Just got back home from Christmas lunch with my son-in-law’s family. Ate way too much sugar, trying to stay awake. Drank 3 litres of water.

Put on my PJs, crawled into bed. Watching Russian Doll season 2 and going to have a coma-like sleep.

Re: Good Morning!

Hello @Glisten great to hear you like the mocktail. There are more non-alcoholic beverages on that webpage you might like too in addition to all kinds of interesting herbal tea combos.

Sounds like you've had a full on day waking up early and having a high octane Xmas kind of day.

I've just been out for an evening walk earlier and am about to clean up my kitchen. Nothing planned tomorrow. You enjoy your movie curled up there. Its a nice thing to do for yourself. I hope you are well rested by tomorrow morning.

I have been wearing some blue lace agate crystal and its so calming to have during this restless time of year. I feel like it just washes away all kinds of stress. It's also a great crystal for caretakers. I wish I knew about it earlier. But yeah a great idea for this run-off-your-feet time of year.

I'm glad to hear you had a good day.

Rest now.

Re: Good Morning!

Well Christmas is over and I feel my usual apathetic good self.    But I don't feel   good at all, not   about the state of play around me..

My lead glass flute slips from my grasp like a hungry child's hand,   the bounty before me made bland by the truth of things.  This Christmas a silence came over the world.  Faint,  but there if you new where to listen.

Hunger,  war,  inequality,  and the fires of the amazon rainforests seen by bewildered folks on neighbouring stars,   A world spinning ever faster and turning against us.

The innocence, sharing, and naivety of our inner child fading from so many of us.   Tell me how I can eat this bread while my impoverished neighbour has non.

I don't want to deprive you of your joy.   But  my new year promise is to not pretend and take risks with my words in what maters to me.

And maybe its my meds,  but I look at the world this Christmas and I don't like what I see.                    I'll never Christmas shop again.

There's a way to do Christmas right,  but I just don't understand how yet.

Not meant as a door darkener,  just a thought exchange..                                                    tones
