Re: Good Morning!

@tonys  You won’t see this post until 2024 and I believe all of your Forum family would agree with me, that your 2023 rehab has required an Olympic athlete’s level of commitment.

I sincerely hope that you hit your peak as 2024 approaches and the first quarter of 2024 gives you blue skies and fair weather sailing with the breeze.

We will all be here waiting for your ship to arrive safely into Forum harbour.

See you on the other side bro.

Re: Good Morning!

Hello @StanD yes we often think of our families of origin this time of year. My family wasn't the best, but I can get by without thinking about it now. I've kind of renounced things when it comes to my only last living relative whom I know. I have found the 285hz to be very healing on the energetic as well as the physical level. It seems to pluck out, mend and restore wholeness where the energy has become subject to distortion. I'm so glad I gave it a go - I love being bathed in such a renewed and ethereal energetic space. I have been making plans for 2024. I have studied some of the astrology as well as the numerology but yes it will make for an interesting year.

thanks for sharing @StanD

..my superpower is waking up every morning ..

just hung washing out, having to sit down for 5 mins lol.

I guess another one is not being angry with everything and everyone all the time lol ..

..as you get older, you learn to ride with the waves a bit more, as opposed to swimming madly against the tide..

hi @Oaktree  thanks for the tag

Re: Good Morning!

Hello @Former-Member thankyou for supporting me. I guess I wonder how much it really affects me? I am happy with my decision to make a clean break. If I am important to them, they have had my mobile number for years. Possibly, not much longer.

@TAB I'm going to one up you & let you know I have been out the back attempting to restring the clothesline. It was too hot. I came back in. I have started at least. Yes, going with flow. I could be better at this perhaps. Or could I be better at being more assertive. There are times when one needs to let go & there are times that fighting for cause, is only option.

I have heard mature ppl say similar b4. As long as things are within parameters I think, yes, who needs the hassle.

If doing nothing & going with flow cause harm to oneself or another, then I'm basically Mohammed Ali.

Oxymoron? Fighting for peace?

World is weird, crazy, beautiful, annoying place🐑

Luv xx

Re: Good Morning!

Hello @TAB @Oaktree @StuF @Glisten @StanD @tonys

Have had a good day today. Its been the summer solstice and I noticed one person on facebook burning a resin blend of home made incense to celebrate the turning of the seasons into summer. I have wondered how I could honor this day?

I have looked back on my achievements since January and think I have made plenty of progress getting healthier and more physically fit

Thank you to TAB for suggesting I move the body when I wake up so I can do yoga.  I elected to wake up my body using a chi exercise machine. Its been very energising. Was able to fit in 30 minutes of kundalini yoga today. Its now a do-able practice - I used to wake up highly sedated on my meds but the chi machine seems to remove the feelings of sedation and then I can lean into yoga.

Have been reading up on Qi-gong practices for summer to cultivate heart energy and found a wonderful routine to work with that moderates the fire element in Qi-gong which is tied to the heart. StuF you may possibly be interested possibly if you want a chi practice over summer while your instructor is on holidays...?

This is what I'm doing:

I'm hoping to do this for summer as well as a pranayama I learnt called "Crows Pranayama" as you purse your lips like a crow. Its meant to be very cooling to the body on a hot day. I tried it and its true. Just a good way to regulate internal heat. There are contraindications which are worth looking up before launching into the practice

I used to eat chilled mung bean soup as a healthy alternative to icecream on hot days. When you prepare them and chill them is like nothing you have ever tried on a hot day.  Its free of corn syrup like icecream has. For some reason they are so incredibly satiating and cold as they go down.  I thought it would taste awful but its lovely to try. I can't make it with sugar now due to my diabetes but there may be other options I could try like Monkfruit sugar or something.

These are my plans for summer. Wouldn't have minded some lovely solstice incense but it marks a lovely day for renewed energy, health and happiness

This practice of Crows beak breathing - Kaki Pranayama is ideal for for cooling the mind. It is also a wonderful practice when you need to calm down and aid the bodies digestive system. This yoga breathing practice and guided meditation needs no previous experience and is ideal for beginners ...
