@Historylover Time Team is still going.
It was sad when archaeologist Mick Aston died in 2013.

I used to love Antiques Roadshow when I had a TV @Historylover Theres a big antiques place not far from me (if you take a car that is) and its a massive premises filled with just about everything you could imagine. Its a bit of a tourist destination because the place is so big and its just lovely to walk through. I went there a few times over the years just to look around. These antique places are also good for astrology and existential books. Picked up a few old books from these places!

Good morning @Former-Member @TAB and others 🙂
I have recently been to Hobart and had my dental bridge put in the front bottom teeth, so that's exciting! I no longer have a gap there!
How is everyone else doing?
Hope you are all well.
~BipolarPenguin 🙂

I lived in Hobart for about 25 years (aka most of my life because I am only 25 LOL) and moved to Melbourne this year.
I really like Hobart. Its arts scene is good, the food is great, and everything is such a short distance from each other. Short drive relatively from the beach to the mountain.
Tasmania though is not quick to drive around. I know it looks small on the map but don't let that fool you!
It takes about 3 hours on a good day to get from Launceston to Hobart. Some say 2 hours, but it took us longer than that with the Midlands Highway roadworks the other day.
Losing teeth sucks. I had to get a tooth pulled out too and luckily for me I seem to heal easily so I wasn't in much pain afterwards. Must be the fact I create a lot of saliva (TMI haha)
Walking is so good for you. Hope you can increase your walking. I love going on walks in the area I am in Melbourne. Very green and lots of parks.

Have heard of dental touristry to other countries @BipolarPenguin its always a risk going to other countries to get procedures. Local dental is more advised. Its great you got your teeth fixed though locally through a dentist you can trust though even if you had to go interstate. I do biologic dentistry for health reasons mainly being sensitive to the volatile organic compounds in dental materials. Its an experience going to a biologic dentist but the industry can be quite mercenary unfortunately. They look inside your mouth and while youre under a pressure and they tell you that you need more and more things like xrays, this, that and the other. You have to have your wits about you and tell them to sod off lol! Which is what I did

Sorry I forgot to tag @TAB won't happen again I swear, I'm usually so good at tagging you. It's been so long since I have used the forums. It's been over a month or so I think or more. Thanks for tagging me in the Good Morning posts regardless @TAB I've been getting the notifications via email and it's nice to know you've been thinking of me.
Biologic dentists sound interesting @Former-Member I've never heard the term. Are they different to medical dentists?? The dentist I go to has a medicine degree and some extra degree stuff. What do biologic dentists have?

Hello @BipolarPenguin theyre a little more progressive than standard dentists. They have to be registered with an international accredited governing body called IAOMT. They have to satisfy the requirements of IAOMT, having done the appropriate education. I attended a Dental Summit once and it educated me about dentistry so I never went back to standard dental care again.
