Thank you @TAB @Historylover @tonys for all your help and suggestions it helps lots.
I didn't think it would be so hard when kids move out, my older son moved out with his girlfriend and I still have my younger one 17 but he spends 24/7 in his room and plays online gaming and won't go anywhere, he gets his food which is all processed like Mac n cheese and chicken noodles using the microwave and eats in his room which is always dark, he has Autism and Anxiety so it's like he's not here cause I never hear him and I hate the quiet, i've never been on my own before and don't like it.

too late to be Hams @ top of pile in say 20 years time. Then it's gone.
Just go for it. worst can happen is you fall back .. to where you already ..are ...

Hello @saturnzoon. Things are not so crystal. I gaze upon your story from different angles and it gives of different light. That may be because I'm an A2 spectrum too. Hard to see a shape when your sitting in the middle. All I know for sure is your sad and your friends here want you feeling better.
We can find a kind of happiness simply because we are not aware there is something better. Thats how I move through life. Is your Autistic son happy. Is the son that left happy. Time brings an inevitable change in the seasons. family dynamics change and adapting is very difficult when you feel your child's hands slipping from yours.
If they are happy. then thats at least some light on your face I hope.
I wont give you the, . . join this and do that . . . advice. That will come from others best placed.
All I can say just for now is acceptance takes time but things will get better.
How do I know. Because you have set about your quest. You are here and bit by bit the trail will reveal when you least expect.
We are with you on your journey. tonys

Good morning @Shaz51 @tonys @TAB @MDT @saturnzoon
Welcome and hello to @DaveD @FernTree1919 and @EmoCris
I hung out with my grandchildren last night. Slept like a log on the couch. My daughter and son in law went to a 40th birthday Halloween themed party. My daughter went as the original movie Buffy the Vampire Slayer cheer girl outfit complete with pom-poms and stake 😆
