@Shaz51 I had a facebook friend in South Carolina hit by two hurricanes within the space of a few years. I hope you can ride it out and be ok. It takes a lot of bravery and courage even though you may think you don't have it. Have you taped your windows and done all the emergency preparations for your home? Thats all you can do and sit and wait. I will be thinking of you.
Yes I am getting more physically fit by the day. I actually enjoy walking now. I had a mitochondria problem causing the CFS in the past

Hello, @Shaz51, just sending best wishes to you and hope you're doing well. All's well here, which is nice.😊 I'm not up with weather conditions in the north so I hadn't heard about a brewing cyclone. I hope it peters out and does no harm. Take care.

Good morning @Historylover @StuF @Meowmy @Shaz51 @TAB @Former-Member
I had a good nights sleep last night which is a nice change with the nocturnal pee'ing, sorry TMI lol!!! Got a stash of things from Bunnings this morning to fill in a hole in the wall left by a wasps nest. Its easy to fix. I guess I'll go out again this morning for another walk and maybe clean the house. Will have to do a list of things. Have a telehealth appointment with my diabetes educator today. Am doing reasonably ok with blood sugar, could do better. Will see whats going on for me with recent bloods/urine tests and if I need to add more diabetic meds. But it was 6.3 this morning before eating anything so could be lower. I'm trying to get it in the right range

Good Morning @Former-Member sounds like you are ontop of things there. I imagine walking helps sleeping. I sept most of day yesterday to my initial disbelief around 12pm then just went with it lol and slept all night. Going to drop car off in a few hours for another round of repairs (starting to wonder what it was I was driving around, last 6 years, was very slack on maintenance, well mechanical stuff , yes, suspension and other things notso much lol
think going for lie down here. just had shower , may have been first one since tuesday , well felt like it lol

Hello @TAB I was hit with a large bill with wasp removal as they were in the house and the dude had to come afterhours. I know how you feel re: expenditures. I had just got ahead financially and then this big bill. Anyway I hope something comes of your car repairs. If you need to sleep then just rest. Listen to your body and be kind to yourself. I used to have a fb friend who was showered every other day by a care attendant so I thought it would be ok doing a bit of soap dodging myself to save on gas water heating bills lol.

Hi @Former-Member
I just read about your wasp nest - or rather the whole it left - that would be scary.
I had a couple of small nests when I first moved here and I think then the health department came and cleaned them out and filled the holes. I live in Government Housing so if these things are on my property they usually get fixed
So - were the wasps inside your place or outside. It's scary anyway -
I did see something on the news - ah - last week I think - where a family had not been to their holiday house - when they did they found a huge - horrible - nasty wasps' nest - I guess that would take a lot of cleaning up and repairing afterwards.
I'm glad you got a good night's sleep - that makes a huge difference - and I hope you can get your diabetes under control - that would be a good thing - ah - not easy though
Best thoughts

G'day Tabby Cat
I am glad you are getting something done about your car - they do like a little bit of a service now and again - maybe this is more than a bit of a service though - cars can be expensive.
I don't have a car - I have a half-price taxi card - maybe over the long run that's cheaper - I can't go where I want when I want - sometimes I get in an aeroplane and go interstate.
What do you know? My spell-check didn't want me to write aeroplane - hey - this is Australia where we don't use airplanes. I know I am fussy about my spelling and grammar - I can add any work I like to my on-line dictionary - but airplane? Nah.
Enjoy your shower after such a long nap Tabs - I need a shower today too - warm weather in Victoria - I just have trouble changing my clothes - today's the day though
All the best and enjoy
