Re: Good Morning!
Hi @Former-Member @Oaktree
Yeah I'm doing diploma of counselling for a one year course
In the past I studied Psychotherapy - for years but my son was very ill. I only want to brush up what I already know and not use it.
My past studying in this was traumatic as one of the lecturers - my step Dad put me in a compromising position because my head injury was triggered. Today I understand all of this and I just want to understand what iv learned - maybe get better skills to help friends out and my ex husband.
We are lucky here on Sane forums I think because we trust each other.

Re: Good Morning!
Yeah Cloud Atlas. It's a book. I am finding the book is better than the film.
Have you seen or read it?
What's news in in your world?
Haven't been on forums regularly for a while @TAB
Will he headed off to home today to do something before folks return. We forgot to put dishwasher on when we were there last time. Lol
Will do some preparation for a job interview I may have on Friday. Will throw a strategic sick day though, because I figure it'll be better to do that than try to meander my way through the HR department of a prospective future employer.
Will also apply for some other things. Then do son mental health work with mindspot (a free service I recommend to everyone)
The past 2 weeks have been ideal for me. Went to gold coast with my partner and chilled and slept on the beach every day. Was a good recovery session.
Figured out what matters ultimately for the future.
Also had my cousin's wedding on the weekend and that was a great occasion. It was good to be reminded of the things that matter most. It was sincere.
I'm praying these days too. More than I have in the past. Idk who to or even why but it's what I've been doing to comfort myself and to admit that I really ultimately have no idea what's happening in life and I think this is okay. I see too many people straining against the universe. I think I'm just accepting whatever comes my way, knowing full well that I will face it with whatever tools I've faced things in the past with.

Re: Good Morning!
no, no idea til yesterday re film/book @MDT
news? ..never ending list of ailments still growing lol
finished Cert IV TAE late nov. had an interview lined up for last week and I chickened out. Said 'personal reasons' okay I would have had to have found myself accom for at least 4 nites a week, plus leaving cat on its own, then means have to go home to see cat, means 400ks/week I told myself could/would do it then flaked out when came to the crunch. maybe DES cant get me something a bit closer to home, even if just casual and ad hoc. im in small country town in SA now if you didnt get that far. not had a visitor in bit over a year lol. one friend came a few times til they decided they were sick of it/me, another one self -destructed, only saw them for a few hours, now they dont talk to me anymore lol Oh, brother is coming to visit. Funny cos he is talking to sister who is not talking to me, so guess he will report to her on my house ha ha. he will be first sibling to see it. only been here 20 months lol another one suggested I save up more so can get a better house. I think he was being malicious tbh; did not want to see me owning a house. if I had taken his advice , would have been $15000 out on rent that saved by owning and anything I could afford would be literally falling down and need major $ spent for poss zero return, ie such a dump only value in the land.
Good Luck w job , partner and praying , world view etc , sounds like you have come a fair way Hams.

Re: Good Morning!
Hi @oceangirl , I was up early this morning, cleaning and tidying. Ihave brother visiting tomorrow. they stopped 3 hours down the road. bit of a funny feeling. I have early appt in 'bigtown' tomorrow so might leave door unlocked for him. not done much else. spoke to a friend first time in months, told them about job interview, they were not convinced by my reasoning. 'Oh, I commuted an hour each way for 15 years ' (in reply to me saying somethings were too far away etc)they didnt mention the cat, dunno , as in it would be left on itsown 4 days a week.( well prob have done worse in the past and it prob has other lives outside of visiting me re cat) so maybe I should have a re-think re job..
