@TAB weren't they though? I miss pub bands, that was our Friday night out, going to see random bands.
My flatmate and I used to swap shifts on a Wednesday so we finished early and then have a late shift Thursday so we could watch our favourite cover band Wed night.
So much great music came from those pub bands.

@TAB Exploding White Mice!! That's when bands had great names! I didn't realise they were from Adelaide.
We had our very own V Capri, or as we called them V-Crappy. Todd Johnson the lead singer was a big name on the WA circuit, he used to jam with the band my flatmate and I used to watch on Wednesday nights, he was a DJ for a while. I remember coming out from the ladies one Wednesday after having had more than a couple of vodka lime and lemons and Todd was standing in front of me. I looked up at him and he looked at me as if to say "you DO know how I am?" and in my semi drunken state said "I don't give a f*ck who you are, get out of my way." We had a tumultuous relationship after that - if he was there on a Wednesday he'd make sure he gave me a wide berth. Lol, memories.
And so you can enjoy some of Todd's mastery, here's a little clip I found for you 😄

@TAB , thank you so much for the tag! I can see your joy and pride come out of your words! Many congratulations on finishing your first assessment towards a new path!
One thing life has taught me that we need to keep reinventing ourselves for work and for life as we continue to grow as humans.
Well done and keep going. You can do this 💪💪💪
🥰

kudos @ENKELI Scientists WA band, Kim Salmon.
mate wound me up badly at bands couple times , once at adelaide unibar no one would have noticed with celibate rifles, another there also but in a hall was EdKuepper mat e was saying tell him hes fat and old .. we got right to the front he could see us carrying on, so gave me the mike ., I blurted out what had been primed with then that pause of nightmares , crowd parted like DEad sea . got past security ( knew guy from gym) and pretty mucj ran down stairs and got far away as quickly as possible....
