Re: Good Morning!

Oh great @Adge

Yes I did see your initial post to me about the image converter. But wasn’t sure if the photos came through the converter or if you found another way to post them. So glad that I could have been of assistance to you with this 😀

Re: Good Morning!

Hey there @tonys  🙂🌺

I actually guffawed when I read your reference to Bunnings! 🤭

The consumption of modernity is a multifaceted conundrum, to be sure.. and our ecosystems pay the ultimate price. Not one person is to blame when it comes to the common person; we live amongst and within systems we have really not a lot of control over, accompanied by the fanfare of an endless chorus line to keep us in the correct window of distraction vs attention…the matrix not yet loaded 😉

The carbon credits trade scandal in the EU was an interesting illustration by which many systems operate, to varying degrees… it seemed like a mechanical filter to siphon off cash, which happens when market inequalities exist in a rigid system - many holes for things (ie: cash) to fall through. I digress 😉☺️

What you’ve mentioned doesn’t sit well within my conscience, either - you’re not alone there 🙂🌺

Even if it was Tupperware tea and cake, I’d enjoy reading 🙂🙌🏻

I hope your day has gone well ☺️🌺

Re: Good Morning!

I have to hand it to you  @Former-Member . .   You have an  incredibly tolerant and  broad approach to oncoming traffic of idea's.   Most people I run my grim jaded dialogue on, usually scratch me of the Christmas  card list.  But you.  You must have held the line in some very difficult positions in your life.

What on earth did you do for a crust,   Managed an airline would be my first guess.  Tough Gov job,

Mossad agent, . . . .   OH  no.    Its worse than that,   hey.    Kindergarten teacher . .   Pardon my humour..       Your education certainly can't be disguised . . .    You have well and truly peaked my curiosity.

As for this world.   In my youth, I hoped I would be the roller coaster  saboteur.   In my Autumn ,  I fall asleep on the ride, . . . paid for by the youth of today.    It is the way of things now and the time for

changing outcomes,   has long passed..

I love your reference to the Matrix.   Made me smile.   Shame we have to die to know,  but the asking price is fair.     I wonder if that's why people say,    I'm dying to find out.

Sorry I'm always so late getting back to you  @Former-Member .  Days are without end here lately,

and then there's the visitors that that can take a hint. . .   but just ignore it anyway..    LoL.

Well its been one of those weeks.   My child labour lap top and my child labour phone have both had to go in for repair.   I'm looking forward to seeing how Harvey Norman  tries to dishonour the warranty

this time.

I hope you are well  P F..  and I love your challenging posts.  Its good to know there are ,  "all points

of the compass",  people out there still,  keeping debate alive and taking the road least travelled.

Sleep well friend,   and  thankyou.                    tonys.    😊

Re: Good Morning!

You are so right  @Emelia8   The poor book keeper does have her work cut out with me..  LoL..

and I'm lucky you have a sense of humour.   You certainly have had a great deal of loss and adversity

along your road.   Is that the burden of family.?   The flip side of the joy coin. ?

I have no family and from the thousands of posts I read on these threads,  more than half of me thinks

I have been spared.    I too ,  worked those red dust,  endless sky farms,  no plan,  was always the best plan.    I was  a gun apple picker,    so the high country paid me best.  and  I lost my soul out west.

A lot can happen to a man past bitumen's  end .   Well ,   I read your words..   You know.   Farm life is hard and station owners with drought crusted lips,  bight their commands off with scant regard. . . .and carry scant purses.

I to have scars that are just for me to look at,  so  I know there are places in people that must have high fences.   We need to garden behind them,   unseen,  now n then.  Maybe one day we will grow a few flowers behind those thickets of thorns.

I wish I could think of something that would make you feel better about your dad.    But the land has made us both realists.   We do what we can.   Live with those decisions ,   and then hopefully,

just  live..

Book keeper is hollering for a cuppa in bed.   Wonder what her last slave died off.   😊

OK  its coming . . .   its coming. . .

I hope your pinto guides you through your valley's   Emelia.   and my thoughts and beat wishes to you and your dad.   . . . .   and    Hannah...             Take care friend..       tonys..

Hello  to all my friends..   @  Tag. . EVERYONE. . .

Re: Good Morning!

Good morning to you, @tonys, always a pleasure to hear from you.

Well, I am told my car is aboard the Cassiopeia Leader, due to berth April 1 - 6. Once I got used to the initial disappointment it has been smooth sailing. Mostly I objected to being lied to so that they could make a sale, but I now think of the petrol money I have saved!

I hope you're doing well. We are recovering from 3 days of a heatwave, Fortunately it didn't get above 40 and today is back to a pleasant 25 degrees.
