@Former-Member I got a pack of tarot cards for Xmas and know you have to do something with a full moon first, I think I did ask you a while back of what to do but can't find it,  if you don't mind please tell me again and this time I'm keeping a copy. Oh and nearly forgot I also have a small pack of different gems which I hope are real and remember you do something with the full moon as well.

If you don't mind d please advise would be much appreciated need to try and change things going on around me and inside this old place

Hey @saturnzoon it was @Oaktree that knows about tarot and how to consecrate a deck of cards. You will have to ask her as I'm afraid I don't know anything about it.

As for your gems they have to be both cleansed and charged.

There are a variety of ways to cleanse crystals. This is from a book called "Love is in the Earth" so you have all your bases covered! lol

Cleansing Crystals

In sea water allowing water to wash over it,

Smudging with sweetgrass, cedar, sage or incense. Native American and Native African tribal cultures do this. You pass smoke from the smudge or incense over the crystal

Soak the crystal in sea salt for 7-24 hours, rinse with pure water and energise in the sun

Soak the crystal in saltwater for 1-7 days (3tblsp to a cup of water) water must cover the stones in a location that will receive sunlight

Beam white light from the 3rd eye and surround the crystal, sweeping away any negativity to a black hole which is filled with a white light. The white light in the black hole transforms the negativity to a positive light energy such that the negative energy is release from existence  Maintain concentration and intention 

Surround the crystal with a visualised white light or golden light, intending that any negative energy be transformed to positive light energy. Maintain concentration and intention

Move a tape de-magnetizer up and down the length of the crystal removing and dissipating the negative vibrations

Cleanse the crystal in flowing spring, river, lake or tap water and energise in the sun 

Soak the crystals in flowers eg rose petals for 24 hours - the essence strips away negativity and cleanses the stone while the purity and energy of the flower is transmitted to the stone

Soak the crystal in brown rice for 24hrs. The rice balances and centres the energy removing negativity 

Charging the crystal

Place the crystal on a large crystal cluster

Place the crystal in the centre of a circle where the circle is comprised of other crystals whose terminations are pointing to the centre

Place the crystal in the sunlight and/or moonlight, the days related to the summer and winter solstices, the vernal equinox, the autumnal equinox, the full moon and the new moon are more heavily charged

Today is a new moon so its perfect to put crystals out in the garden tonight.

Take your tarot cards and hold them as a deck in your non dominant hand (the hand you don’t write with). Then knock on them once with your other fist. Then touch the corner of every card. Next fan them out, facing you and bring them close to your heart. Then you say an affirmation of your choosing. Something like this;

May my readings with these cards be true and accurate. May these cards bring blessings to all I read for and may I have confidence in all my readings.

You can make up your affirmation yourself but the above is an example and pretty much what I used. You re-cleanse your cards if they stop working or you want to remove negative energy off them, also just if you feel like it. How often you cleanse your cards is up to you. No need to put them under the moon because they might get wet or soiled which will ruin your cards but you can leave them on a windowsill inside if you really want to.

Storing your cards, you can store your cards in the box they came in or you might choose to wrap them in silk. I have heard of a lady who stored them in new make up bags. I store mine with rose quartz that I have charged under the full moon to absorb any negative energy off the cards.

I hope you enjoy your cards. I am still learning to read the cards, I just started in January! Read your cards for yourself and others as often as you can

It's the Downsizing Photos bit that I have no idea how to do.

That's why I have always (many times) abandoned the Photo Upload attempt - When the Sane system rejects the Photo because the File Size is too big.

So some instructions on how to Downsize or Shrink Photos to Upload onto Sane would be Wonderful.

The photo size on my old iPhone was a problem so I was transferring them onto my laptop and was using a free picture converter to shrink the photos. It was a real pain because you convert the pics then have to save the converted pic to choose on Sane to upload.
