Thankyou @Former-Member .. No rush to reply . So i tryed to buy some brackets from eBay. About 10 dollars worth. I don't need the brackets. I'm just trying to learn to internet shop from eBay and Amazon.
when I had nearly completed the order. A message appeared. Supplier won't deliver to PO box'
So I did not complete the purchase . There was absolutely no place on the page I could click on to say,
cancel order. Or don't proceed with order. They deliberately deny you this facility in the hope that people will just put up with having it sent to there house. There way or the highway..
While me and my cousin are scouring every inch of there site for a 'don't proceed with order' icon to click on .. a big bold message displays that says. congratulations. You have been signed up to a 30 day free trial of , pheonix I think it was called. I think it had something to do with free delivery or
insurance or god knows what because there was no explanation. Point is I did not ask for it.
They just stuck it to me. So , Because they have no way of just saying .. OH you wont deliver to my PO BOX well I'm Going then. All I could do is turn the computor off.. They started sending me emails to complete my order or empty my shopping cart . I defy any one to show me where on there page is an Icon that simply says . . do not proceed Or cancel my enquiry.
A very frustrating and corrupt site to deal with as dept of fair trading has show. If you look on google , I am one of many that eBay is signing up to scams without our authority and then making themselves impossible to contact. Thanks @Former-Member .. Hope you may, like me seen something on the internet about this. I have only been using a computor since I joined Sane
so its still a huge challenge for me.. tns

I have pay pall @TAB . Pay pal is a wholly owned subsidiary of eBay.. TAB Thats why I always cancel
the card and wait a while. Their are organized gangs that wait for worthwhile orders to be delivered
to peoples home addresses. Scope the place first and greet the truck at the kurb before it makes it to your door. Everyone gets a cut of the action. Guess where they get there tip offs about the really good scores. . .

I just asked Artificial Intelligence and it said yes you are right @tonys ebay won't deliver to a PO Box. But it did say they post to Delivery Locker services. I just checked and there are Delivery Locker services in Australia. Don't know anything about them but might be worth looking into 🙂

Thankyou @Former-Member .. Yes eBay likes send to your home. It helps them with data gathering.
If a boat sits under your carport . or a new Land Cruiser. that info is worth gold to organized criminals,
and dodgy businesses and government. And that just the tip. everything is micro filmed and fed to a data base.
Amazon is just so much safer regards that practice, but soon they will relize the data that can be
gleaned from home delivery. Till they do I'll go with them. Mate you always try your best to help.
Your a wonderful person and a real asset to Sane. They should give you a job in my book.
Nite mate, thanks @TAB too.. for replies sleep well both of you. tones

Hello @tonys thank you for that lovely compliment. I love being of service to my community, its a real joy to me but I don't see myself working for SANE. I know you appreciate my input however. I am just happy being a casual contributor. Look into getting a delivery parcel locker. It may be a way around your dilemma but I know you are astute and want to know your options before signing along the dotted line. Sorry you had that scenario with ebay but I think you may be able to sort something out by cancelling your PO Box and going with a parcel locker instead all things being equal.
