Yeah @ENKELI - meds definitely don't help the motivation or energy!
I totally wouldn't survive in Broome...as much as I love the general area (only been in winter!)

I think you can find a lot of Yeo's teas in Asian shops @ENKELI @SmilingGecko . I used to have that drink as a kid. It's got a lot of sugar though.
I have a friend who grows her own chrysanthemum, dries the flowers, then makes drinks out of it. Then you can control how much sugar you add. It's a very soothing drink in the summer and the flower tastes completely different.

@ENKELI You could just buy chrysanthemum loose tea from a tea place and make it yourself instead of buying supermarket cans of Yeos and just chill it yourself to save money on postage
But fyi just about every Asian place and Chinese shop I've ever been in where I live in Melbourne has it. Its not a hard to find the Yeos tea drink, its a big brand here and overseas
I'm buying mine as loose leaf (not a can) from TheTeahut online now and intend use the flowers in a strainer and make enough for several cups and to keep chilled in the fridge. I can't drink the Yeos brand anymore as they have sugar in them (I have diabetes)

@SmilingGecko & @tyme thanks, I am going to buy the loose tea and brew my own. A good way to control the sugar content as you say.
I am familiar with Yeos as you say it's a well known brand. I buy my black teas from Nerada as I like to support Australian and they have a great lemon myrtle variety that is really delicious and refreshing. I just wish they sold it at Coles and not just online. Lol 1st world problems!

@StuF Broome is a great place to visit - in winter!- but not so great as a place to live. Because of the transient nature of the town it was hard to make friends. The population swells from 14 000 to 45 000 in the peak season. I got to know one of the craft shop owners and she said she'd lived there for 7 years and was still not considered a local.
I learnt to wear waterproof makeup, just walking the 1 minute from the car park to my office I'd be bathed in sweat!
I prefer country to city, hate living in Perth and if I had the chance I'd move tomorrow. But not to Broome lol!

Yeah @ENKELI
I've always been a city boy, but I really want to try regional...maybe not as regional as Broome!
Annoying that I have a couple of health issues that mean I need regular tests and appointments so finding new doc's could be a pain...(And of course employment!) Anyway, will see where life goes 🙂

@StuF yeah, moving from the city is not viable for me at the moment either.
Trying to find employment in Perth is hard enough for me much less having to find work and somewhere to live in a regional area.
If I win lotto I'm moving down south though!

I share the sentiment!

I might look up that lemon myrtle tea. I don't usually buy commercial brands unless its loose leaf as there is normally particulate matter in the teabag materials which aren't so good for your heath. But don't think I've ever tried lemon myrtle. Thanks for the suggestion @ENKELI
Yes living in Broome is a itinerant city. I imagine it would be very lonely. I think lower along the W.A. coast theres mining towns which is more of the same - a bit rough too. Had a friend who was a geophysicist and she said those areas were as rough as bags.
I've been to some northern parts of Australia like Darwin and Townsville and you get out of the car and get enveloped in searing high humidity heat. Was staying in a hotel in Darwin once, did my laundry and by the time it came out of the machine to put on the line it was virtually dry! lol

C’mon @ENKELI all Perth’s stadiums got voted the best in Australia. Great sports, great beaches, we have more daylight hours.
