I was just teasing you, @SmilingGecko. I have to tough it out in the heat and cold. I hadn't heard of any new regulation regarding air conditioning in rented homes. It would be nice but they'll only put my rent up and it's already around 55% of my pension.

That medication you are on certainly has given you a lot of side effects—diabetes and temperature dysregulation. Can't they do better than that?

Thats cool @Historylover yes unfortunately with psych meds in the years gone by it was well known that there is virtually no R&D into new meds as there has been typically limited demand for pharamaceuticals in this category. That may change in future possibly as more and more of the population are developing mental illness. But in the meantime we have to contend with meds with side effects.

I know how you feel @Historylover it should be compulsory for all households to have air-conditioning with heat n cold in Australia and it should be subsidies by the government, I'm also on a pension community housing doesn't even all allow to put one in only allowed portable fans.

 I saw on the news last week I think @SmilingGecko that they have a cure for diabetes that has been successful with the trial and I think it said they were nearly there to release it. So I hope that they can make it available to everyone sooner rather than later.
