Good to hear you say that @Historylover . Doesn't matter how you grow your food, the main thing is,
your walking the walk. Cutting down on transport, refrigeration, and packaging. Growing your own food makes a difference to energy flows and resource stabilization. 2 million people start doing it,
and it has an enormous impact.
The person that I want to reach is the one who complains about living expenses while mowing his lawn.
Every where I rented, I had boxes of greens growing. I moved,. . they moved..
Big business does not want us educated and changing our practices and for me that was always motivation enough.
Well I hope some happy thoughts are about you and they shadow you through the week.
Take care of yourself History lover. tonys..

@Historylover I ❤️ the scent of Sweetpeas.
@tonys I’m not shy about asking the local traditional owners of the land for their advice and guidance.
Every new place I go to, I throw a rock or handful of sand into a river or lake to say kaya to their spirits, tell them my name, that I’m here on their country. It’s my way of showing respect.

@tonys, I think the majority of people have to hit hard times before they realize that keeping our hands in the soil and growing food is beneficial to quality of life and health—personal and financial. There is too much unnecessary money in too few sections of society, and the playing field needs a good leveling to bring people back to what is important. It's a lesson well worth learning and perhaps it is cyclical when times get tough.
Happy thoughts to you too, @tonys. Keep well.

Speaking of things astronomical/astrological, @Former-Member, I found this picture of Hyperion rather astonishing. Talk about bombarded!

Lychees - my family calls them eyeballs
After 10 months in QLD, I never want to see another Dragon fruit again. My son’s backyard is full of them.

Ha ha @Glisten! So damn funny. Well give him credit for being able to grow them. My old landlord used to have cactuses out the back and I found out they were prickly pear cactuses which you can eat. Some grocers sell them. They are hard to peel as the prickles on the fruit have to be removed with their skin. You kind of have to wear heavy duty gloves to peel the fruit but they are delicious and taste beautiful when chilled.

@Former-Member I’ve never had prickly pear fruit. Best served with welding gloves.
I don’t think we are allowed to grow prickly pear plant in WA. Cactus enjoy the habitat too much and don’t play nicely with native fauna and flora.

Hello @tonys I thought you could either be Sagittarius as we seem to have a good rapport as Virgos always get along with Sagittarians.
Then I had this thought you would be a Capricorn having to build a huge enterprise (farm). Capricorn is like the goat climbing the mountain step by step and slowly getting the job done. Capricorns are the builders of the Zodiac. I also had a feeling your birthday could be around the few degrees of Christmas based on your personal life story. The degrees there are usually extremely challenging so its easy to spot.
I know because I study something called Sabian Symbols which are a mainstay of astrology. They are strong indicators of the type of life one must lead. I've studied Sabian Symbols for years. But thought it may be true as the Sabians reveal lots about someones life they accent astrology in ways you could not imagine.
I was born under a difficult Sabian Symbol and use a specific crystal talisman unique to my Sabian Symbol to bring out the best in me and lessen the hardships. Crystals are used in astrology. We can't always mitigate fate but we can always move through life with more grace.

Yes @Glisten I do wonder about the legalities of cactus growing. There are so many banned weeds and plants that you can see in your local councils growing guide. My naturopath used to love growing those weeds and plants making tinctures out of them he he
