Don't know if anyone on here lost all internet and data last night and most of today with Optus.
Don't realise how much we depend on internet until we loose it, it's like our life suddenly stops and can't do anything, and unless our family or friends are with another company we can't contact anyone.
I ended up in hospital this morning and I had no way of letting my family, friends or my support workers know what was happening and wasn't till this evening we finally got it back.
Hopefully will be able to go home tomorrow.
Hope everyone that got affected by the outage managed to get through the day without to much trouble and was able to manage.

That would be interesting if your device was attracting them, @SmilingGecko. Perhaps your bee man has similar experience.

@Historylover I have to think it was the device as the bees are gone. The bee man said it was unusual and shouldn't happen so often. I'm just pleased I don't have to shell out more money. Its eaten into my savings. I get paid my pension next week so things will be tight. Just had a hole in the wall repaired a few weeks ago which I could not do myself. Had a genuine tradesman come by who did the right thing by me and charged me fair price. I've done a lot of painting and minor repairs in the past but this job required a tradesman to do it.

I find it fascinating that your device may have affected the bees, @SmilingGecko, but I guess it wouldn't be surprising if it was so. Always one expense or another surprising us, isn't there?

Yes I've had bees and wasps come to my property numerous times. I think EMFs can cause problems with birds with their migration patterns so maybe bees are the same? idk. Getting tired of expenses. Had to call the bee man after hours and it was double the price. Had bees getting into the house so had no choice. Holding on tight to purse strings @Historylover

Very interesting article, @SmilingGecko. I wish red cellophane over a light would do the same job as an infrared light. ($$$$). I'm always improvising, I have to. Perhaps I should experiment. And the closest I could come to ice baths would be finishing my shower with a burst of cold water, but it would still be invigorating.
Heading off to bed. So tired.
