Re: Good Morning!

Hey @tonys

Well enough here thanks. Cautiously optimistic 🤞

How'd you fare today?

Re: Good Morning!

Yes I get it @tonys I caught my contact nurse crying when I was first discharged and she was wondering what was going to happen to me. She was a lovely big woman with a pure heart. Working in psychiatry did not break her. But from that moment on I was out to prove everyone wrong that I could survive and I think I did even though things were pretty bad. I never forgot that woman and her acts of kindness.  But TBH I don't normally discuss what has gone by, you got to focus on what is life giving and good. Its what fed my soul and animated my spirit.  Had therapists who focussed on positivity.  Life gave me so much strength and fortitude that I would rarely show weakness but I'm learning a bit to show my vulnerabilities now. I am a female but had to be strong and I think @Appleblossom said the same thing about her life. This is just a lovely forum. The people here are so nice. It just warms my heart all us folks here supporting and encouraging eachother.  I understand the severity of what you have experienced in life though, it cuts right through to the bone. I think it has made you the man you are today. I love your words. My friend before she died was an astrologer and I wondered how much water was in your astrological chart as you write poetically with so much feeling.  You must have many planets in water as you come across as so creative.  I wish I was that creative but I do value my own talents. What you have comes across as a unique gift!

Re: Good Morning!

@StuF  😆 came out unscathed 🎉

Re: Good Morning!

@tonys  You have the heart of lion and the words of a poet

Re: Good Morning!

Hey @StuF   Mate thanks for asking and I'm doing Ok.    Will be transferred to a rehab hospital closer to home..    News from farm not so good though.  Couple I left running the place,  Well the fellow has had some sort of a breakdown.   The lass is doing a good job but I can tell she  struggling, you know,  hiding things.. so my friend,  book keeper is leaving today to sort things there.  There's just no outward signs I could see on this fellow.   Its that unforeseen word yet again hey .  Mate. . .  I gotta get back home .. soon.

Supposed to get wiser when we get older.  All I do Is learn how little I know,   and strange thing is.  I feel  guilty about feeling fine myself.    ?  ?

So,  are you all in the one house looking after each other.   Board games n pizza is the nice picture I'm imagining. Time with family is the one good thing you can salvage from this perhaps.    Well   Your a deep and thoughtful fellow. Thanks for caring, and I hope you guys are back on top,  soon as...   Take care Stuff.  😷🤓                         tonys

Re: Good Morning!

Gee thats a nice post .  Thankyou @SmilingGecko .  Yes well Understanding the nature of people and the and the minestrone of life does not come easily to me.  I see pain in people and I wear it.

Aloofness,  humour,  redirection,  banter. . .  There's just no school for it.   How does someone with autism apply field dressings on the MH battlefield.   I walk into a troubled home,  smiling,  hat in hand.

and forget my big muddy boots on the wool carpet.

I think I said that we all bring to the ship yard,  a piece of ourselves to help rescue our little fleet of imperilled vessels a few posts back.  A plank , nail, piece of rope..   I'm left wondering at times if my condition has saddled me with the anchor and chain  task.   I just want to play with the carpentry tools too.

Mate ..   Trust me when I tell you,   I think your a whole lot tougher than me.  Tasked with finding an admiral for our fleet...  mate . . .   I pick you..

footnote..    Apple blossoms retired..                                                                                        tonys

Re: Good Morning!

Mate  @Glisten ..   Thats such a nice thing to say.  I feel a bit guilty as I paint your words to me on the side of a giant zeppelin. . . coming to a  city near you  folks. .    Sorry Glisten.  But thats just lifted me so much that I just want to yell from the roof tops.  Yes.. I've had one of those days...   Thing is,  it comes from a person that is struggling from one day to the next.   From that perch,   those pearls of yours  really soar.

Your something else mate,    Special..

Traded whatever pride I had long ago for a beggars bowl of false illusions.   This apparition that I pass time in.  A place to hide, feed of,   depravity and hunger,  dogs eating there own..   Have you come to this place to tell me I can hope for more.  That there is a good in people.  I will tell you that Ive never seen it in  the good.   It shimmers Oh so bright though  in the broken and lost  that yearn to be good.

It is they who have walked in those feet of clay,  draped in the rags of adversity.

They are the dean's in the university of life.    I humbly submit to you n yours for words of wisdom.

That you see,  unconditionally  to your neighbours house through crazed n cracked windows is

an incredible inspiration to me  Gliston.

May sleep  envelope  us  both  in peace..                                                                   tonys..

Re: Good Morning!

That's interesting, @SmilingGecko. I've been on an injectable for 6 weeks and I am so very exhausted and so lacking in appetite. I am getting worse by the day. How do we get off these poisons?
