@Former-Member  job is not where medical is. its closest branch of chain they want me to use. 90mins closer than going to Adelaide. 90% chance my results will not be accepted I would say . however if do get through its fifo from adelaide to about as far north east as you can go in SA , nearly in QLD lol

so I would leave my car in storage in adelaide  it would be 18 days on / 10 days off so about $10k/mth else would not even go to medical. have had jobs more than that after tax, but didnt last too long in it ha ha

Had a friend work on an oil rig in Brazil years ago. It was one month on and one month off.  Got hitched with a Brazilian gold digger who spent all his money.  Don't know what happened after that. She went off with a bunch of feminist workers. It was not a nice situation but all his friends and even myself warned him.  Haven't been in contact with him for over 10 years. He was stuck with an autistic kid to raise himself after the marriage @TAB

Eating cereal at the moment.

My mum is a bit ill and she hasn't seen a doctor yet. Hoping she sees one today. We live together and we are going on a trip overseas with my sister and her boyfriend, who live in Tassie, on the weekend.

She's done a COVID test a few days ago and it came back negative so who knows what it is! Not a common cold though, if you ask me.

A friend had cold for ages recently, turned out was pneumonia, they were laid up for weeks on anti biotics 

going to leave for appt shortly will be way early but so many variables driving over 100ks, like road works etc

At the moment I only have internet on my phone.  Modem arrived today which going to set up today so have internet on my laptop, so much better.  Last few days, in between moving and unpacking boxes (boring) I came down with vial throat infection.  Has been lovely spending time outside in the sunshine today, bit too warm for me outside by now

Hey @MDT  went to medical/physical for a job yes, had been a bugbear as weaseled out of literally 4 of them recently , build myself up, spen money in my head , then as medical gets closer I think gee no way i will pass and cancel it.

So if finally went yest and  barely into physical side of it w very pedantic nurse and I m stuffed they put my on ECG, video called supervisor and wrote a referral and told me to go to emergency ha ha lol was  an hours drive from home was hot, not had water in 2 hours no aircon in exam room, 35 deg oh yeah just find hosp and go there  yeah nah, thought not that bad (ok plus I had with held info from them re medical history to try and make me not look quite so bad.. so the supervisor said if am on thinners and known condition no issue else high chance of stroke.) i am on thinners , except went off them cos supposed to have tooth removed , could haver had it done monday but put DES appt over my health as I put medical over my health yest. been a sh!t week. going to hosp soon ok 20 mins away , not local as hosp in name only, its 1 nurse retirement home or something ha ha ha lol

After a hot day yesterday today it’s raining quite heavy, very windy and it’s cold.

40min phone call to internet provider and all fixed.  Due to my eyesight, it’s so much easier posting and replying on the forums using my iPad than my mobile phone
