@Historylover I looked up alopecia and its an autoimmune condition. I don't like volunteering suggestions when its not warranted. But these audios from Sapien Medicine have changed my life. Theres one for reversing autoimmune. I hope you don't mind me sharing this. But who knows it may work at restoring your hair!

No, it wasn't autoimmunity that caused my alopecia, @Former-Member. It was unbearable stress, which also kick started my silvering—in my 30s and 40s. It can also be caused by health conditions, diet, medications etc. I don't have it now, but it reduced my hair's volume considerably. I think I may try an oil treatment when I get around to it though. What was your natural colour?
I thoroughly enjoyed my cup of fennel tea yesterday, and I had a cup of star anise tea too. I haven't had a star anise tea for ages. The fennel left a lovely fragrance in my kitchen for quite a while. Thank you for the advice. It's another tea for my arsenal. I drink a lot during the day and like to vary them. I even drink hot water instead of tea. It acts as a distraction when I'm on my computer for a long time—which is often.
Familiarising yourself with your phone?

I used to have dark brown hair @Historylover now its all grey. Stress can activate autoimmune diseases. Alopecia is an autoimmune disease going by webMD. Glad you liked the fennel tea. I like anything with a bit of a strong taste. Drinking warm water is very stabilising according to ayurveda especially to those with strong vata doshas. I must get back into drinking warm water. I tend to drink it out of a bottle with a water restructuring device in it but the water is room temperature. I did not sleep well last night so will go at a slower pace today. Will start with the phone today

Re tea, @Former-Member, I just like variety and it's always nice to try something new.

I normally buy my teas from the Tea Hut. They have an extensive selection. I used to drink jiaogulan (aka gynostemma) tea which is anti aging now its considered a superfood and people are now drinking it around the world not just in Asia. It youthens the body and makes you resistant to heart disease, diabetes etc. I can't drink it anymore as it clashes with a med of mine @Historylover It has a beautiful taste if you can get a good grade of tea but it can taste differently on the palette from batch to batch

I used to buy loose leaf green and oolong teas from the chinese grocer, but they only have bags now. I'm not a fan of bags, myself, but I do use them. There isn't a Tea Hut near me, @Former-Member and I probably couldn't justify the cost anyway. 🤔 Perhaps I'll try rose petal again, too.

Rose petal sounds lush. I've never tried it. I bet its lovely. Will put on my to do list in future. Where do you buy your rose petal tea? I must look into it. I love the smell of roses @Historylover

Actually, it's been many years, @Former-Member, but I bought dried rose petals from the chinese grocer. There are recipes online. You can use fresh petals too, but I've never used fresh. Roses would be in a vase until the last minute, if I had rose blooms! Hybrid tea must be nice, though. I always stop and smell those beautifully fragrant, deep red blooms when I see them over a fence when I'm out on a walk.

I see you've found a recipe, @Former-Member. How's the phone going?
