Hello @Former-Member if you are an introvert like me you are also quite possibly what is commonly termed an empath. Someone with feeling and compassion. Empaths unfortunately attract narcissists, sociopaths and all kinds of negative characters that have bearing on your wellbeing if you are only just becoming aware

There are articles online about why empaths attract these people. You can see the type of relational dynamics that go on to explain such a connection and why it takes place. Please look it up!

Maybe try and join a shyness or empaths group at the meetup? Or start one at your local neighborhood house or community centre. I much prefer being around empaths.

Good morning @TAB  we had an earthquake in Melbourne last night. I heard an explosive sound in the house.  Everything is ok. I sensed it was an earthquake. It happened 11pm last night roughly.  I'm about to have lunch then head off soon.  Have spoken to my pen friend from Michigan. He's a former nurse. Hes a nice dude I always love hearing from him.  I hope you are enjoying things in your new abode? Am so happy for you that you have a place to call your own.

Thats good re friend. Another person from my past re appeared in last couple days, was getting sick of them, but had a bit of a chat yest and was interesting. Not sure if it's believable . they said they lost their house.

I knew they got a place of their own, wasnt real flash, but okay, plus bought like 10 years ago so was cheap. they claimed was interest only and fix contract , so when went back to principle and interest they had to sell it it. sounds odd. thought interest only would be like only a couple years, plus hard to get unless you are a business dunno

@TAB I thought there was something wrong with the electrics in the roof as there was a loud boom. Checked The Age for earthquake advice and they said if gas/elec/water running then its ok otherwise get it checked out. We had another few quakes and I used to have a friend who was a building inspector who told me what to look for with the house.

Sorry to hear of friends arriving on the scene re: your house.  That is really unsavoury. Just be careful.  The rents are so high now that people are resorting to desperate measures to have a roof over their heads. I used to get taxi drivers trying to get to know me because of my house. 

In reality nobody really cared about me due to my mental health status but used to get these slippery characters trying to worm their way into my life. My ex-sister-ln-law's father was ultra rich from being a hotellier and wound up with a woman after his cash. He was so physically ill with age related health problems that he was in a co-dependent relationship with her because he required "care" from her. The house was a mess and she was just siphoning money.

Anyway you got your place. I wonder where these friends were when you were in the caravan park?

@SmilingGecko yep that has been it, plus illness that got me into those situations, being an introvert or empath as you put it and as it is on the internet.

generally I’m caring but struggle with what society wants me to be so in the past was an angered empath… I just want it to be simpler, but this is not easy.

had a decent conversation at work today with the team which was pleasant!

how’s the plants, astrology coming along, what is in store for an Aries these coming months lol

yeah this person had not been in touch with for nearly 6 years  @SmilingGecko they didnt know about the house, but we never really got on anyway. just whole story sounds a bit out  there dunno. think there are things I do not know about as they dont talk to their only son etc
