Re: Good Morning

Hi @Judi9877,

Hope you are doing okay. I'm sorry to read you have been triggered by a few things and your mental health has been impacted as a result. Sounds like taking things slowly and setting small goals is a really good approach.

Take care and I hope the week ahead is a good one for you.

Warm wishes,

FloatingFeather

@tonys thanks for the tag!

@FloatingFeather I’m okay now - just needed some time out from the forums for a bit. I might take things easy as I’m still working on my mental health issues.

I’ve spent the day resting and doing some knitting and I’m now just watching The Chase on TV which I quite enjoy.

Have a great night!

@TAB   hey Tab   don't overestimate me.   I never set out to a destination,   just go where the wind or someones tag to me, . . .  takes me.    I never look at what thread I'm in.  I should..

On April 5th, we will be given the opportunity to look up into the night sky and see the beautiful Libra Full Moon, providing us with an insight into our relationships, mistakes and what we need to shed in order for our truest potentials to bloom.

Libra is commonly known as the Sign all about balance, however the energy of this full moon will focus more around how you see and react with the world around you and the relationships you keep.

Who do you share your energy with and why?

If you’re anything like me, it can be hard to set boundaries with the people in your life. We can easily fall into a ‘people pleasing’ mode where we put the feelings and emotions of others before ourselves. The Libra full moon will allow space for you to reflect on where you put yourself in a line up of people.

Do you say yes to going out when you don’t actually want to go?

Do you put your friends / family or partners needs before yours?

The way we interact with the world is important, as what we put out comes back. If we are constantly allowing the relationships in our lives to dictate our actions, we will inadvertently be left feeling off balance.

Allow the full moon to shine down and show you where in your life you need to take action in creating a more balanced, healthy and stable relationships. It may be external, yet it could also be your relationship with yourself and your own habits.

Do you keen telling yourself that “next week I’ll quit smoking.” Or “ I’ll start journaling tomorrow morning.” We need to be held accountable with our own personal integrity, rather than shifting the blame towards other factors. Embrace your mistakes, don’t harp on them, and move forward with strength and the growth that you’ve made.

We pulled a card from the deck “Aboriginal Dreamtime” for further guidance;

 SORROW

Trust is something you give away too easily – be discriminate. You may be feeling like someone is talking about you and creating problems for you? This is a time to trust your own instincts and rely on yourself to make these decisions. Sometimes you need to take responsibility for your own decisions and stop relying on others to do that for you – this will give you confidence to step forward and take back control of your own life.”

To help you throughout this full moon, we've been meditating Black Tourmaline. A favorite amongst staff, Black Tourmaline allows you to protect your energy by not taking on the issues of others. It grounds you and encourages you to think rationally while filling you with courage to take one challenging times in your life.

Re: Good Morning

Morning @StanD,

Thanks for the tag - nice to hear from you. I'm a bit of a people pleaser myself but I have learned to put boundaries up more over the last few years. It really has helped me dealing with others and has also helped me prioritise my own mental health.

Hope you are well and the week ahead is a good for for you.

Warm wishes,

FloatingFeather

Re: Good Morning

Hello @StanD and thank you for posting this meme. Its certainly very interesting!  I did not know the moon was in the sign of Libra, I have not been up to speed. I do know however the full moon falls in my house of money.you.earn/money.you.spend, self esteem, values and possessions. So will be reflecting on these themes a lot. Full moons are also a time of letting go of things to make way for the new! I'm planning on doing some kundalini yoga over the full moon to open up my energy channels and to be in a state of readiness. I also like following the commentary about the vedic astrology interpretations of the full moon energy. It falls in Hasta nakshatra (mansion of the moon). Don't know what it means yet but I follow a yogi who analyses the energy around the full moon and does the yoga class around its lunations

Re: Good Morning

Morning @FloatingFeather you know, my first instinct when I saw you reply was that I was in trouble!...I do forget about internet guidelines, boundaries. I have read them many times.

I feel good, I'm not.

PP has been part of my 'armour' for so long, it's very difficult to break the habit.

I really admire people who can speak their mind without worrying about imaginary consequences. It's really brave of you to admit you do it too.

I feel like it's gender based too. In different ways....

It's freeing & feels completely right in moments I can be me. I feel like a have a long way to go. I actually love & miss caring for others.

Paramount I find my own clear boundaries first.

Thankyou feather.

Re: Good Morning

Oh, I'm sorry if you thought that you were in trouble @StanD. Definitely not, just wanted to say hi and let you know that I found your comment around PP relatable.

In truth I still worry about the possible consequences of having boundaries but I have started to back myself more and come to understand how important they are. I'm also starting to learn that it's okay not to please everyone - some people, no matter how much a person might try, may never be pleased.

I really agree that it is important that you find your own boundaries first. When I was younger I didn't even know what a boundary was - I'm glad people now have a better idea of what boundaries are and how important they are for all of us to have.
