There are some lovely places to visit in Melbourne, @SmilingGecko. I recently planned to do some, but only got as far as the National Gallery. I spent several wonderful hours perusing the art works. I was going to go to the Botanical Gardens next, then some free concerts, but I have since lost the inclination. I just can't handle doing things on my own anymore, and I've given up on people in the real world.
I would love to see Cruden Park. The art installations would be wonderful to see, too. You could certainly spend an enjoyable day visiting the associated places there, @SmilingGecko.

I'll look into it, @SmilingGecko. I don't want to do zoom consultations. That's just too commercialized and impersonal for me, but I'll have a look into it. I thought Headspace was for young people. I already have an appointment for next month and it's close by, which is always good when you don't have a car and are reliant on public transport. I'm just hoping for someone I can communicate with over one or two consultations.
Right now, I'm going to take a walk. 😎

Walk done, @SmilingGecko. I had a look into Headspace, but couldn't find bulk billing psychiatrists except in regional and rural areas. Also for young folk, so your older friend may live regionally?
Don't worry, I won't be staying long. I just need to offload and ask a few questions only psychiatrists understand.

Good morning @TAB!!! Have been busy making a toner for my skin. I got the recipe from a naturopath online. It uses essential oils, apple cider vinegar, witch hazel and aloe vera juice. Its great for balancing the pH of your skin. I used to use a similar formula in the past a lot. I need to get lemon essential oil for it. You feel like you are in an energetic cocoon afterwards applying it to your skin. Here is why ACV is good for your skin, its from an old formula I used to use:
My current formula is 4 drops lemon essential oil, 1/4 cup witch hazel, 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar, 1/8 cup aloe vera juice ❤️ I got the heads up from Dr Axe who is a naturopath. You avoid putting chemicals on your skin and get the same benefits from a cream but minus the pricetag

Yes my friend lived in Ballarat and was 60+ years old. There are bulk billing psychiatrists out there. You could go to https://www.ranzcp.org/home to check out shrinks in your area. There was someone that used to work for the Dandenong Clinic (I think it was called) that left and joined or started her own clinic not too far away. I found out about it from the receptionist there who gave me the heads up. They were very compassionate people and by the sounds of it the lady was a kind and caring psychiatrist willing possibly to bulk bill. But I understand your avoidance of shrinks as I spoke to some on the phone who take delight in tearing down patients. I've met them in hospital settings like that. I had to ring around and see who I clicked with @Historylover

My problem is that I clicked with my ex-psy, or thought I/we did, and I know his skill level, so I now have the ability to do comparisons, and no-one compares. I tell myself that I am looking through rose-coloured glasses, or that I was the one who did the work, but I think I would be wrong to believe so. His skill level was extraordinary, and I was always in awe. I have even told myself that that was because I was assessing him from a much less educated viewpoint in the beginning. However, I still consider the same now that I am assessing from a much more educated viewpoint.
I am not exaggerating when I say that he has destroyed my life, @SmilingGecko. No-one can correct this mess, only he could and he won't. Making this mess for me was his raison d'etre. He gave full vent to his hatred of women on me.
There was no reason for my life to turn out this way, he had plenty to work with and a very hard-working patient.
This other fellow is in my vicinity, and as I won't be there for many consultations, I will just have to hope for the best. I have nothing left to correct. I just need to ask some questions. Only a psychiatrist can fully understand my situation and things I need to talk about.
Thank you for trying to help me with my problems, @SmilingGecko. I'm sorry to be so downhearted in my responses. I am actually trying to make it much less so than I feel. It's been very difficult lately as the seriousness of my situation continues to worsen.
A beautiful blue sky outdoors, @SmilingGecko. I hope it is so at yours too.
