Re: Good Morning

Thats interesting @TAB after you get to the end of the suburb where I'm in its basically woop-woop.  Theres lots of new development going on within it though and it is a bit of a growth corridoor.  The suburb won't expand beyond that however. They don't want any further urban sprawl

Re: Good Morning

ohh there's gaps one 2 sides here, was outskirts once , new suburbs further south, old area in hills and then paddocks for ages til more old suburbs heading north. this is as far as train line goes in this direction, goes a lot further south along the coast in newer areas @Former-Member , if go to coast , suburbs keep going for another 50ks lol , can be 70 ks south of cbd and still say live in Perth lol

Re: Good Morning

Oh I see. I have never been to Perth before.  They are forever building new development zones.  I am about over an hour and a half out by train into Melbourne. It would be nice if I could drive again but with prices going up with petrol and possible availability of car parts its not likely.  I'm still looking into getting a shopping tricycle thats my next plan.  Its been something I've been thinking about for a while but not the right time to buy @TAB

Re: Good Morning

yes, they shouldhave stopped the sprawl here years ago @Former-Member

umm car parts ? what do you mean? do you have a car that needs parts ?

well with tricycles maybe the will have electric ones soon, well sure someone could convert them now. Just a matter of what theydo with rego and licesnsing if they ever do that I suppose

Re: Good Morning

With the war against Ukraine its affecting supply chains and exports.  So car parts in future will be hard to come by in many cases.  They are saying now for instance German made cars will have car parts related scarcity @TAB.

Those electric bicycles are so risky to ride, I used to have one and can say they are dangerous and can cause accidents. You can rev it up while cycling and it takes off suddenly while you have no control of steering. We've had electric scooter accidents been documented here, pretty much the same thing there.

Re: Good Morning

well best stick to American cars then I guess like ford or holden @Former-Member lol

um hadnt heard that re e bikes, maybe they are bit more sophisticated now??.. I know people go flat out on scooters everywhere, guess they cause accidents themselves plus cos too out to it around here lol

Re: Good Morning

..made it back from shop down bottom of hill (15mins return) was going to turn back after less than 100m and downhill if anything , legs and hips pretty stiff from very short walk in sand yest @StuF @Former-Member  maybe sand walk for me is more than 5 times as hard as on footpath atm lol really after today, could have justified 3 day break after beach walk ha ha

Re: Good Morning

You wouldn't want a BMW @TAB.

Re: Good Morning

Mate has bmws @Former-Member  nearly cost 1/4 price of car for a service so then he went to backyard place now does himself. Nearly impossible to work on. Designed for assembly only. Things over complicated and very hard to get at. 10 steps vs 2 for American. Plus parts cost a fortune
