I'm not doing well myself @TAB I mustered a walk and did some basic household things prior to that and will be keeping things simple today. My BP has been too high. Saw GP about it and she wants me on yet another BP med on top of the one I'm allready taking...

mm gosh that's not easy @Former-Member .. did you tell them you are walking now? I've not walked for exercise prob in weeks now, feet feeling better, but must be losing muscle etc, last time it was hot , I was going out in public feeling dizzy, not a good idea. Not taken BP in a few days now, not felt dizzy either though. My GP always seemed one, reluctant to put me on BP meds, then two to modify them, but most of the time its okay. I didnt realise they are not actually good for you long term until after I was taking them . Guess they weigh one thing up against another

Yes I did tell her I was walking. I will check my BP later on in the evening @TAB. Its come down a lot since Saturday. I have been taking magnesium and drinking lots of water. I am reluctant to take another BP med on top of the existing one. I'm glad you made up your mind about BP meds. Yes keep tabs on it. I have been a bit slack doing readings but will do another reading with my BP monitor later. I hope your dizziness is not persistent, it could be BP related. Its good you listened to your body and did not go out walking. Possibly too hot anyway. I'm building muscle but yeah hardly felt motivated today to walk. Tomorrow will be better. I'm still trimming down. We have a relatively large shopping centre here and there was a walking group mainly for seniors that used to walk through the air conditioned shopping center to avoid street crime in the neighborhood. Its pretty bad out this way. Anyway you would not have to fork out money for a gym membership

yes , good idea re shops, in old part can get surprising amount of steps going from one end to the other and its usually not that busy, or only busy at the one end. Guess make you own case for no new meds ? ie drink water etc, usually if they want change they ask for 3 weeks readings, just do it yourself and show them ? @Former-Member

Yes shopping centre walks are a good idea. At least you can get air conditioned comfort. I'm not one for paying through the nose for gyms. I used to be a member when I was younger but now just prefer to make the most effort out of walking in the neighborhood. I will discuss what you said with my GP. I suspect my blood needs purification. Plus clearing out the lymphatics so the lymph can do its job and drain it all from the bloodstream @TAB
