Good morning @TAB hope you're faring well today. Have been going through my tea cupboard and unearthed some extra herbal teas I did not know I had - dandelion leaf, echinacea, gynostemma, hibiscus and elderberry. The elderberry aroma is quite strong when you boil it then decant it, the house seems full of berry smells! The gynostemma my acupuncturist/herbalist put me on years ago and just have gone back on it after stint of not drinking it.

I've heard of white tea @TAB Green tea is especially highly caffeinated - you may wish to watch it if you have high blood pressure. I had to throw out caffeinated tea and coffee because my GP told me to avoid it given my high BP.
I started making a hibiscus tea blend a while back. Hibiscus is good for BP.
The tea I make is sweet, warm and infused with steeped hibiscus leaves in 1 cup of boiling water + separate 1/2 cup boiled unsweetened apple juice with cinnamon in a saucepan cooked for several minutes. Then you mix both and drink
Its a lovely comforting sip. Hibiscus is good for BP and this tea combo has the most delicious taste. I think I'll go back to drinking more over winter as I said its a comforting tea to have over cold weather.

Just popping in to say hello and to let you know I’m still in hospital getting my meds looked over still to limited success. I’m still having trouble with sleep although the suicidal thinking and ideation has slowed down somewhat along with the voices. I don’t know how long I’ll be in here for but I am looking forward to going home and having some decent food like beef tacos and beef goulash which I’m yet to cook since leaving PARCS. I’m glad I’ve got my knitting and I’ve also started another crochet blanket as well to change the boredom of knitting which is good. I completed a beanie yesterday as well. I’m spending time just resting - not sleeping as I can’t get down to that level of sleep during the day- and also reading a few novels including Rachel’s Holiday by Marian Keyes which is funny because it’s set in a fictional psych facility in Ireland which I’m enjoying.
Take care!

Good to hear from you @Judi9877
Thanks for the update.
No good about your sleep, but great that some of your symptoms are easing
Rest sounds good; hopefully boredom doesn't kick in too hard! Keep knitting and crocheting 🙂
