Re: Good Morning!

Yes you can still make a go of things with schizophrenia.  I've seen some inspiring individuals but each case is unique and dependent upon their circumstances. I had a partner for 10 years, never had kids because was put on a psych med that causes spina bifida in babies.  I used to work for a charitable agency as a volunteer and saw the cycles of poverty repeating themselves so it put me off having children.  In hindsight it was the best choice I made.  Its not the right environment to be raising a family especially now.  The world is a toxic place and also is overpopulated.  There are so many people on the planet now that its unsustainable. So I kind of fell into not having a kid for environmental reasons @Former-Member

Hi @Judi9877,

Really sorry to read you had such a tough night last night @Judi9877. I've sent you an email just to check in with you.

Hope all goes well with all your appointments this afternoon and your anxiety lifts. Sounds like you have a busy rest of your day!

Take care and best wishes,

Re: Good Morning!

Ok @TAB Housing is tight these days, high rentals, you really need more money to pay the rent. I know what you mean. Its a pity you and your ex can't sort out something even if its a stepping stone to something better. But as you said it was a relationship with relating dynamics. Unless it could possibly be reconsidered given your current situation just for a while. I dunno. Its hard to make decisions given all the uncertainty.  Whatever decision you make I hope it works out. But yes you certainly need money coming in.

Re: Good Morning!

Hi @Judi9877

I'm so sorry you had some disturbing symptoms. I hope things go well with the psychiatrist and case manager. I feel for you, that anxiety about appointments is not fun. I'll look out for your post in Jude's Jungle to see how you're going later today.

Sending big hugs

Re: Good Morning!

Hi @Former-Member

My eldest daughter is 34 and her and her partner have decided not to have children due to the stress on the environment of a growing population. I've actually got 4 children and while some could see that as excessive I feel that this younger generation could change the world for the better. My youngest two are passionate about climate change and so are their friends. I'm like you in some ways and worried about overpopulation but in other ways I am hopeful that younger people will save us!

I hope you enjoyed your sausages for lunch, mum prepped some stuff while we getting the kitchen renovated so I’ll be eating that for the weeks ahead.
