Good morning and good afternoon @MDT @SmilingGecko @Former-Member @TAB @Meowmy @Former-Member @FloatingFeather @Former-Member @Shaz51 @Historylover @outlander @Snowie @BPDSurvivor @greenpea @maddison @Eve7 @Peri @Delicatessen @Dimity @Jimbo2 @Former-Member @tyme @Daisydreamer @Clawde @BlueBay and all forumites joining here today. I hope your Saturday is going well and that you are safe and well.
I’m at PARCS so I’ve just been doing some knitting of a cable scarf this morning since nothing much is happening. I’m setting small goals to achieve each day and to give myself something to be proud of at the end of the day. Nothing very special but it all counts.
Take care!

No its not rhubarb @TAB I bought lots of brightly colored vegetables and these silverbeets had red stems like rhubarb not your typical white stems!
I've just blanched another full pot of stems so may have like 20 weeks worth of silverbeet. Its all going in the chest freezer.
I did not even get around to pulling out the beetroot! I may spend more time in the garden tomorrow if I have the energy

I'll lightly blanch them so they are soft and just freeze them with the chopped stems @TAB. Being out in the garden is good. Don't know what I'm doing tomorrow, possibly have a quiet day. But was pleased with the amount of produce I harvested. With the carrots they did not grow much, possibly due to the silverbeet competing for space and sunlight. I wondered this "splicing"? with carrots will work. Can you dig them up and then re-space them so they will grow bigger?
