Re: Good Morning!

it's a matter of time and acclimatisation I guess @StuF never really planned on staying here too long. Was holding pattern waiting for payments to come through/trying to sort a few things

..anyway, nothing ventured, nothing gained ..could have still been in la la land where came from, going to start re-sorting stuff in storage with a view to getting rid of storage.

seems van having ensuite has encroached on space in annexe, so a lot less room for junk than anticipated.

Anyway, I will get there. Was being a bit 'unfiltered' like omfg what have I done lol, yeah did feel that, and truthfully,if I thought it made sense, could go back where I came from lol, well when get money again

Hope you are going okay enough..

Re: Good Morning!

Yeah @TAB

I reckon you got this- and it ain't a race anyway, so take your time 🙂

Me ok enough thanks. I really need to shake my life up tho. Getting there I guess

Re: Good Morning!

@TAB thats terrible regarding the lack of decorum at the caravan party re drinking fest - it must have really made you wonder.  I had a neighbour in community housing years ago and her name came up on a list to move closer to her family of origin in a rural area. She deeply regretted moving.  She said in her new house nearby neighbours would watch her house & come over as soon as she opened her curtains for an uninvited morning cuppa.  Every day she felt encroached upon.  For this reason I would just view the caravan park as a stepping stone to new rental. I lived in a share house once where the landlord would dabble with home electrics when he had no electrical license, I think now its a wonder I did not get electrocuted.

Re: Good Morning!

Re: Good Morning!

Hi @SmilingGecko yes it all a bit how's yer father re caravanparks

yes, short term, its not cheap really either unless get rid of storage, went there this morning dumped a few things in bin, will be a lot more. also got pushbike and a heater from there.Really no need for a lot of things in there , need to go through it and rationalise again

Re: Good Morning!

@TAB rental prices are going to go through the roof.  IDK if youre the type thats into share housing - that may be an option to mitigate high rental costs.  But yeah in caravan parks its almost anything goes - no privacy or even civil behaviour.  If you had a share house you'd have folk that could offer you support.  I have shared on many occasions.  Anyway its possibly all too much to contemplate right now.  Just get settled and start looking for your next move TAB! You could put out an invitation on facebook. There should be a "community noticeboard" in the district where you live on facebook. I have seen locals putting up requests for share housing as housing is now a growing need more than ever.  People are finding housing security hard to come by and I've been seeing lots of requests on a facebook noticeboard for people looking to share like single mums etc...

Re: Good Morning!

Had bad experiences with living with owners before @SmilingGecko

Re: Good Morning!

Hello @MDT busy day you've had there.

I've just been studying a modality online that does fascia decompression, so am looking to unwind a lot of this cellular tissue. I can't afford the workshops right now but theres a free module!

I want to resolve trauma, injury and ageing with this therapy.  It looks really promising to unwind this structural fascia tissue so all the organs in the body can breathe and overall health is restored.  Am looking forward to a new me!

Re: Good Morning!

I've shared with owners and have not had the best experiences either. But if you can get a group together off a facebook noticeboard looking to share (no sharing with owners) and approach a real estate agent as a group then that would work out better @TAB  <edit>

Re: Good Morning!

Yeah dunno @SmilingGecko think Id rather sleep in a bush than be in share house
