@Scream58 could be true I don't know re parasites and gut health. Gut health has been all the rage in the past 10 years or so. I did used to drink kombucha and kefir which is a fermented Russian tonic which you can buy from supermarkets and has grown in popularity in recent times.
Sounds like you have done well for yourself with your little unit. I have a 3 bedroom house, would prefer to go smaller but it will require a renovation and building works to sell. I use an electric throw through winter to keep warm instead of a heater. My heating bills do not spike because it does not use much kilowatts to keep me warm compared to a heater. I also wear thermals from a snow ski vendor. They are so much warmer than others I have tried and I'm warm as toast as you walk right through the house.

.. re modern health matters.. study of east and west german children found there was less allergy and asthma in cleaner more modern environments in west germany @Former-Member @Scream58
oh and the usual stuff about how theyare starting to use leeches in medical treatments again etc, modern medicine/healthknowledge has huge gaps in it and is dismissive of anything they didnt come up with in modern times

Good morning and good afternoon @maddison @Scream58 @StuF @TAB @Former-Member @Historylover @greenpea @Shaz51 @outlander @Zoe7 @tyme @Owlunar @Peri @Clawde @Emelia8 @oceangirl @MDT @Former-Member @wellwellwellnez @pinklollipop15 @Eve7 and all forumites here today. I hope your day is going well.
I’ve been awake since getting woken up by my housemate at 8:30 so I chose to use the time to work on my adult charity knitted blanket which I got the section I was knitting completed which made me really happy as I achieved something so early in the morning which is unusual for me. I’ve been to the local supermarket to get food for our fried rice which I’m planning on having for dinner tonight and the supermarket was very chaotic with people everywhere trying to get last minute Easter eggs. Luckily, I’m all sorted for them as I got them on Thursday night before the shops shut! As for the rest of my day, I’m planning on doing some more knitting and maybe tidying up my bedroom.
@maddison thanks very much for the tag!
Take care and enjoy your Saturday!

Depends on the amount of your super. You can go down the road of drawing a part pension from your super to supplement tyour income. If this doesn't exceed the amount you are allowed to earn then doesn't affect your Jobseeker but depending on who you deal with at Centrelink they can chose to make things difficult. I got an "acne faced child" who had no clue what it was like to be older, unemployed and have physical & mental health issues. He just told me outright "because of your age & health the prospects of finding you a job or retraining are limited so I strongly encourage you to consider drawing a pebsion from your super".
I think they had done the calculations and based on the Jobsearch allowance at the time figured my super would see me through to retirement age.
