Yeah it happens @TAB I kept bumping into a woman I knew who wanted to get to know me but something wasn't quite right so walked away. Had another uni friend try and get back into my life giving me lots of gifts in the post but didn't really want to get involved. Its hard meeting folk on your wavelength. I used to have a couple of good friends and we could talk for ages about all kinds of juicy discussion. Miss that time in my life but just got used to being a hermit and just living a quiet retiring life. Had men interested but nothing came of it. It always comes with strings attached

Job I walked away from years ago ok nearly 30years ago now @StuF
They didnt EDIT want me to leave
I was doing anything and everything plus the guy who hired me was motivating me plus very positive
I used to do my own quotes, pick materials up etc etc plus did pretty amazing job in the end Made service truck for semis out of like furniture van lol made concealed steps, benches, mounts for oil drums made vacuum tanks and installed under tray , installed roller doors etc lol
Was on labor hire when it first began and I was really getting put upon by supervisors oh go and look at this job that is like nothing i had ever done before then u have to do it lol
Were lots standing around when went there yet no one wanted a bar of it lol
Never a good sign..
then got abused when rang me after and i said no thanks lol
