Happy Friday friends!
I'm having an easy day at home today doing the last of uni work for the year - uni resumes in January! I've just got a quiz to go on some coursework and that's the end of the psychology subject which I'll hopefully get a Pass mark for! P's still = degrees in my book and that's all I want as I just want to tick that subject off as being completed as part of my 24 subjects in my psychology degree. I'm thinking of ordering in food for lunch and dinner as I can't be bothered driving anywhere either as I'm tired still from the move on Tuesday. I'm also not interested in the Black Friday sales either so I'm cool at missing out on the sales!
Take care!

Hey @Judi9877 I used to order food through menulog but now the outlet I usually buy food from has increased the amount you have to spend to just get a basic home delivery. I don't own a car to pick up food. It must be part of their price structuring to increase profits I don't know. So now I just have frozen salmon, frozen chicken tenders or frozen rissoles in my freezer which are easy to to throw in an oven and 30 minutes later you have a cooked meal with an easy to whip up salad.

“Good Morning” Thread
In addition to a general Good Afternoon to everyone, while I am sitting at the computer with a bracing coffee beside me, I offer a few specific comments to some people with whom I have had contact more recently {generally from more recent comments and interactions}. I have relied heavily on the lists offered by @Judi9877 and @Shaz51 {With much Appreciation} for reminders of forum addresses, so there might be other people who I may wish to have included. My best wishes go to all.
@Judi9877 , I can certainly understand the desire to reduce the range of mental activity and time allocated to preparation of anything but the easiest meals, especially when in the middle of uni assignments and still in the process of moving. It's also nice to have something special at those times, not only for nutritional value, but also as a reward and spike for mental activity. Best wishes to you, specifically for your uni work, and to you both for completion of your move to new accommodation.
@greenpea , I was amused, when in a recent comment, you said that you were
“going off to get some shut-eye and hoping we are all asleep.”
@The-Hams , I don't know about others, but I find communication with you very difficult. As would be generally acknowledged, I think, I am not into one word, or even one sentence comments or replies. For me, it is a shame, though, that I find it so difficult to offer you anything, in conversation, that does not seem to be a response to a negative statement or, what may appear to be a plea for help. I would really love to engage in conversation with you about something that appears to be positive in your life. I think the closest to that was a discussion about the setting up of the fire pit and you reading a book as you enjoyed the warmth of the fire. It just might be that my wishes or expectations for the development of positive events and perceptions in your life are unachievable – but I certainly hope not. I see life as something of a balancing exercise, where at times there may be more negative apparent, and at other times, more positive. In the middle is the balance where we match negative and positive. No-one I am aware of experiences all positive {probably only available in Heaven or Nirvana.......} but hopefully no-one, I am aware of, experiences all negative. We all know stories of people who have endured the most extreme of privations and experiences, and yet were able to see something positive in their existence. Even if that was only in their own minds. Maybe we have to experience something like that to be able to appreciate what we do have.
@Itsjustme1 , I enjoy your reflections on life as you see it, from time to time. And the thoughts that you express and perceptions about your life. Those thoughts, perceptions and reflections vary as it would seem that your life experiences and activities vary. Some positive, some negative and at times there seem to be a “truce between the two”; each allowing the other some space. You have been up front from the beginning, as indicated by your pseudonym, promising no particular point of view except the one that is evident for you at the time. Thank you. Although we do not correspond a lot, I have enjoyed the interaction that we have had, as I hope and believe that would have been the situation for others also.
@TAB , G'day!!! I guess that if you were born out near Maralinga, in the remote Western areas of South Australia, (was) the site, measuring about 3,300 square kilometres (1,300 sq mi) in area, of British nuclear tests in the mid-1950s. Then it might be said that you were born near the site where
“they were letting off A bombs near where (I was) born ...”.
Here's a picture of the landscape ---

Your story adds some colour to my post, @TAB .
@BPDSurvivor , I recall our discussions since I reactived my membership of the forum in February this year. You interact quite a lot with other members and from my perspective, you offer support to others in difficult times and challenges for others that allow for the opportunity to see there situations from different perspectives. To me, this quality is one that is valuable. I believe that when we keep looking at ourselves or issues that are generated outside of ourselves or our “sphere of influence”, only from one restricted point of view, we are not allowing ourselves to be aware of other nuances of perception(s), that the “bigger, more extensive picture” offers to us for our own edification. I also recall your aversion to centred script so, in deference to your wishes, I have presented this section, for you, as “justified”.😃
@Shaz51 , Just a constant on the forum. Offering interesting variations on entertaining themes for the enjoyment and amusement of other members of the forum.
I am aware, as others would also be, that your situation, since just over twelve months ago, has continued to be ever more demanding of your internal and external resources. Thank you for your presence here on the forum, which adds another valuable dimension to the lives of us all, as I hope that it gives you the opportunity, even for short periods of time, and, I hope , with beneficial effects for you, to lift yourself above the day to day issues that you face.
I'll post this now, as I want to get over to the pool for a swim before the crowd gets there after school. I don't feel overly comfortable among crowds. It is hot and sunny, so, in spite of having applied a liberal coverage of SPF50+ sunscreen cream, I will only be there long enough to get the exercise that I believe I need.
So, for now, Good Afternoon, and I look forward to catching up later.
With My Very Best Wishes
