@Former-Member
I can't work out how I'd load a sound recording on here but....
I was recently chatting with a childhood friend who is American and she was saying how cute and sweet koalas are.... and I agreed - yes yes they are very cute - and then I asked her if she'd ever listened to one?
Apparently not, so I left her a heap of voice recordings of male koala grunting noises - do you know how hard it is to sound like a male koala trying to attract females? If I had to write it, I sort of did this:
Whoopoaghruuuh
and I couldn't get it right.
so she ended up with a heap of messages of me making horrible grunting noises 😂😂😂

Hi @Ant7 bit ordinary tbh, feels hotter than is, going to be 35 today, bit of a toothache reminding me should have gone to dentist like 6weeks ago lol
Anyway, more coffee and a bath will help things here lol
Hope you are going okay.

Aw that is just so funny. I have heard a koala grunt once and yes youre right its not very pretty for such a cute little fury thing. They do make an awful noise when they "talk". What a cool thing to bring up. I think its very unfortunate that koalas grunt like they do, its not the best kind of advertisement for Australian tourism I would prefer Kylie "the dancing budgie" instead any day lol! Thanks for reminding me about those poor old koalas and the even more poor old people who take care of them in zoos etc. I could not handle the grunting all day. I guess its an animal thing...@ArtistZ

@TAB
I hope your coffee is strong 😃☕️
And good luck for tomorrow!! 🍀
I quite like the idea of a giant party sized BBQ 😂👍
@Former-Member
Aussie animals noises are great 😂
I love the sound of Willy Wagtails too. I looked up a while ago to see if there are any stories about them and it turns out that in some communities they call it 'police bird' because it's always watching you, it's dressed in black and white, and it's always telling gossip 😂 isn't that cool!

Yes indeed @ArtistZ. I like the indigenous birds out this way. I live in a semi regional district and we get white cockatoos, roselllas and also just plain old suburban birds. When the cockatoos fly overhead its like the Hitchcock movie "The Birds". And snakes don't mention the snakes slithering into carparks and shopping centres! lol
