Re: Good Morning!

no, not draining, just not so ranty atm lol @Historylover  all good

Re: Good Morning!

Hi everyone! Just caught up on the posts.

@Historylover , did you speak to your course co-ordinator re similarity scores? I think that should be your first point of call. Tech support give general advice, not specific to your assignment. So you may be doing more revising than you actually need....plus all the stress on top of that!

I haven't stopped studying since the day I started. 30+ years on, I've navigated 5 uni systems over two states. One thing I found, in every uni, my course coordinators have been wonderful. They are there to help - you just need to reach out to them. I personally reach out to all my coordinators at the beginning of each unit.

Good news is, I've sort of made up my mind that this current course I am doing will be my last for at least a year. I love studying (as you can probably tell), but I think it's time for a break. I'll be finished in two weeks. It's been a long four years, but I've enjoyed this course immensely.

Good luck with your studies. If you need any uni tips, let me know.

Good morning how is everyone doing today 😊❤️

Re: Good Morning!

Yes, @BPDSurvivor, I will try to talk with my lecturer about my scores but it can take days to get a reply. I had refined and further refined my assignment, and submitted it when I had had all I could take of refining and counting words. Having now withdrawn it, I have spent all weekend refining it further - which hasn't been a bad thing. I'm able to manage the tedium a little better now that I have had a break. But I can't be sure that I have avoided plagiarism, and I am now nervous re re-submitting it. I'm sure I have made unnecessary changes but it hasn't done it any harm.

If only I hadn't withdrawn it and had taken the time to understand the 46% similarity assessment, but I was shocked and just wanted to get it back. It sends me into a panic because I am not familiar with the system and have no-one on hand to help me. It's all a matter of learning as I go. That's the reason for my recent 'information overload'. I only had basic computer skills which had extended as far as I had needed, but they have had to be extended even further now - and fast.

I started studying that long ago too,  but I have had a number of lengthy breaks to do other things which were more important at the time. There are few things more exhilarating, are there? Such a sense of achievement!

If I need any tips I will let you know. Thank you. Well done on another course almost completed.
