Re: Good Morning!
Good morning @Owlunar . Yes lockdown now in the whole of Victoria. I had to go to the big town for a Covid swab yesterday, because I had been in that town on Tuesday for my Psychologist appointment, and then a quick drive through at KFC.
Results back within 2 hours, because I had a very inflamed throat, puss on throat, and larangitis.
Covid is negative. Tonsilitis is positive. Lol.
I normally don't leave my small town except for my Psych appointments. But now we will do them over the phone again until lockdown is over.
How are you going with the isolation?
Terrible about those idiot protesters marching yesterday. They will just cause lockdown to be extended. And heaven help anyone who catches Covid off them and gets sick. I want all protesters during a lockdown to be jailed for a month. Show them what it is really like to be lockdown, and will keep our communities safe.

Re: Good Morning!
Hi @utopia
Yes - those protesters are just making everything worse for other people and I feel angry about it. Not so angry I will lose the plot but obviously the people doing all this anti-everything-activity are losing the plot. It's very selfish
I'm sorry you're sick with tonsilitis - that is a nasty bug to have - I am so glad you don't have COVID. That has to be worse.
I guess I always knew about the Spanish Flu because my grandmother lived through that and lots of other things - and she told us about it all the time. I never really thought there would be another pandemic bit it's always possible. People are criss-crossing the planet everyday and when I got to travel around Eastern Australia I saw crowded airport - yes - prime areas for spreading bugs - and of course - it had to happen - we are living through history
It's good to hear from you - I hope you recover from the tonsilitis quickly - I think that's bacterial and responds to antibiotics. I had it for my 60th birthday - I managed to have dinner with my family before I got really ill - my throat looked as if it had tiny white cauliflowers growing in a really red background. You must feel pretty ordinary right now - I hope you enjoyed your KFC
It's actually pretty windy here today and warm - I have just finished a load of washing - it could easily be dry by evening
All the best today - and I hope things look better healthwise tomorrow

Re: Good Morning!
Hi again Hamza
I hope you are okay - I am not sure what you are about right now - still going to work I guess and trying to get a better job - I hope that application you put in recently was successful - otherwise - keep trying
And you are still doing your university course which is great - it has to be very different since I did mine - so long ago now - well - back in the 80s - when we went to classes all the time and nothing was done on line - I got my first computer which was just a wordl-processor to do my Minor Thesis in 1991 - now you must be doing the whole thing on-line - atm. All the best with that my friend

Re: Good Morning!
pretty much dodged virus as in regional WA @Owlunar but still effects of reading about it and wondering 'when' ..
had health issues around easter that relate to vaccination so that hasnt happened yet, like a 3week wait here unless pay for it at private clinic, then its 3days.. just wrong.
anyway quickest year ever, was toying with megabucks 4 month job interstate but health not up to it I think. Have done most of paperwork if decide to start process again though.
not worked this year, covid payments last year were a boon lol didnt have to spend my savings.
anyway still waiting on specialist appts here (told job that in the end) Hope things are okay with you
