Hi @TAB Did you decide not to take the meds?
You seem to be doing really well - going for a walk and eating well. I don't cook, my cooking is limited to steamed vegs & chicken or steak done in the George Foreman grill. Sometimes I can mamage an omlette, but that's it! I'm so lazy when it comes
to food, I have no appetite, thus no desire to cook anything.
I don't actually enjoy alcohol, I just drink a few doubles to stop the depression and loneliness and to be able to sleep during the afternoon. But then, as you said, it stuffs up my sleep at night - even tho I'm on a cocktail of meds.
Having a good GP is really important. It took me years to find her. Hope you get one soon
Have a good day buddy. Enjoy the tv. Are you into any good Netflix shows? I need suggestions

Your GP back in Feb sounds horrible - addiction is a disease and it's not like we can click our fingers and 'just stop' as she said @TAB
Younmust have been on the med that starts with A. I've been prescribed the very common one starting with N. I'm reserved about starting it, as I don't like the sound of some of the side effects - insomnia isnanpopularnone and I have too much trouble in that department already. But I've set myself a goal date to start, &'deter determined to stick to it. Just so pissed off at my new pdoc, who wouldn't prescribe it, but insisted I see an addiction specialist - $370 for consultation before Medicare rebate.
I tell you,it's so expensive being mentally unwell!!
How does the govt expect us to get well.
Anyway, I digress.
I sincerely hope you find a good GP. Must be so much more difficult being in a regional area

yeah she means well, I would have brushed it off normally, as its my process and my decision, but was feeling vulnerable guess @WIP yeah talking about I remember feeling sick, they said would be first couple days, it was a bit longer then I stopped
I took like 1 or 2 still got them same thing
yeah this GP only not very experienced, well in australia, they only got their GP accreditation last year think
so cost me $6.60 as they bulk bill yes, take what you get and be glad in country doubt they have addiction people here, there is a rehab and few halfway houses and seen people getting stuff starting w 'm' there, but chemist didnt have 'n' in stock had to go to dift one
Eating now. Hope your day goes okay got microwave veg, noodles couple choc bars and bakery run lol so no room for anything else lol
