They are just icky - long flicky tails - yes - and they scuttle - I have been freaked since a mouse plague when I was a little kid and I would hear them running around the skirting boards in our bedroom - I was scared to get out of bed

I am really good at setting mouse-traps now

@Owlunar  At the last place I was living in there was a resident bush rat who thought she owned the place. As soon as she was gotten rid of another would come in .... some of the stories I could tell you about the rat would make your hair stand on end 😮 !

I had them in my roof in droves - I had vivid nightmares - one gave birth in the wall cavity near my bed and I could hear the little ones squeaking - another one died near the air vent in my hallway - oh yes - I am happy to hear your stories

Btw - I could hear them getting into the bait - they would go away for a while until different ones come.  atm the rats are absent so the possums have moved in for a while - possums I can stand

We have not had them here.  I think only one mouse in 20 years .... might be something to do with cats.

Good afternoon everyone, sorry for not tagging in, my brain is barely functional today. Supposed to pick my mum up tomorrow from across state. Really don't feel well enough.

@Owlunar  Hey Dec had a rat who stole off with some baby rats from some where and ate them in the wall cavity behind my bed ...... needless to say I left the house soon afterwards .....
