Can get a mobile operated tap timer from Bunnings, on the expensive side, at least $100 but connects to your phone
Good for long trips or if you cant have anyone check in at your place

Yes, that is a great idea. I've used manual tap timers in the past, but I don't know about the new ones @ArraDreaming @Dimity

The phone connection ones can get quite costly but you can get ones you program like you would an aircon timer, etc Tues 10am 2 hours, Wed 10am 2 hours etc
