There is certainly a lot for you to carry for all your kids @Faith-and-Hope but you are not alone - thank goodness you have your kids and you can all walk through this together. It is not ideal in any way but having them work through it with you has to help everyone. Glad it is a day to day prospect and distraction is helping - sometimes that is all we can do until the storm eventually passes
You walked nearly as far as I drove yesterday so I am not at all surprised it is catching up with you - hoping when you do nod off you can sleep throughout the night Give Nelly a cuddle from me and of course one to yourself 💖

Hi @Former-Member 👋 💕
I am taking time off from my studies to get properly settled into my home here in a way I just haven't been able to until now, even though it's 2 years since we moved across here.
There has been a backwash of stuff come into our main home from the art space @Former-Member, and it's piled up in the lounge room like a junk yard ...... so I started cleaning out my laundry cupboard that was so full of stuff that didn't actually belong there that I couldn't put the laundry stuff away in it ..... and it's just sort of barrelled on from there. There is one shelf in the laundry that I haven't seen to yet cos I don't k ow where that stuff is going to belong ..... but then I moved to the kitchen, and have finished cleaning out the cupboards there today. Now everything fits ..... in the same space where it didn't fit before ..... just from tidying up and sorting the space out better.
I am hoping to keep going for the whole week (have started on my wardrobe and drawers too) so I have the structure to start feeding the junk pile into ..... whatever is staying that is ...... cos I will be giving things away or repurposing them as I go.
Cabt get the art stuff sorted yet though, cos the cupboards I need for that are still in the art space, but once D3 has moved into there, I will have her room here to work with too.

It is amazing how clearing things out and sorting things can also help clear our mind and help us move forward too @Faith-and-Hope I found that with my big clean out last summer holidays. It has also made it easier to put things away and not have them clutter up the main living spaces in my house. It sounds like you are well on the way to doing the same ...gets a bit obsessive when we start hey Having the time now to tackle it all is great - it will make such a difference for you when it is done Hon 👍
Heading off now - gotta do some more work. Sleep well Hon 😘💖

Good to hear that you are making the most of your unexpected time at home @Faith-and-Hope . Good luck ... sounds like a pretty major undertaking. But well worth the effort, once its done. You have made me realise that I really need to go through my cupboards too. Its something I could start this week. Especially since I was meant to be away in Perth all this next week and now, like you, I am unexpectedly home and feeling at a loose end. I shall put it in my diary to do, along with a few other things I have thought of. Thanks for responding, I have been feeling somewhat invisible lately. I hope your long walk has prepared you well for a good sound sleep @Faith-and-Hope . Night. 😴💕

Awwww thank you @Appleblossom .... 💖💕
The gatherings here and community support are so great to have through this next round of dark times ..... previous generations had war, the Great Depression, and other forms of pre-antibiotics medical pestilence to draw togethet around ..... so glad we have our cyber space to do that now.

I had a few hours sleep eventually last night @Faith-and-Hope then another couple of hours this morning. Need to push through today to get the work done but will also take a break to watch the footy this afternoon - I can do some of the work at the same time (some that doesn't need any brain power). My back is a little better today - more uncomfortable so far than in constant pain but I will need to sit for sometime today so that won't help ...plenty of breaks when I can, lay down and heat pack should help.
How is the cleaning and sorting going?
Hey @Appleblossom Nice to see you

Morning @Zoe7 .....
💖🦋
Sorry to hear your back is still giving you so much grief, but good that the work is ticking over, keeping / getting you up-to-date.
i closes the heavy drapes in my room last night, so slept from dozed-off o'clock until 3:30am ..... then awake until dozed-off-around-4:30-ish o'clock until 8:30am ..... so that was pretty good I think, and probably something to do with the big walk a couple of days ago.
The cleaning is going well. There is a tv in my room so I am going to set D2 up there with the footy, and continue the big wardrobe sort-out in my room today.
The kitchen is done, and feels sooooo good ❣️
