Thanks @Former-Member , I've felt this way for nearly a year. I just can't shed weight and get into shape no matter what I try and do. I thought coming off meds would do something, but, seems my metabolism is shot.
That's life and could be worse.

Sorry its so hard @Gazza75 . And I know you do all the right things re gym etc. How long since you came off meds? It will take a while before you notice any change regarding weight, metabolism, etc. Its very easy to suggest patience, but I also know how hard it can be. Dare I say it .. our metabolism also slows down as we get older 😀 which makes weight control even harder. Have you considered something like 'lite n easy'. A calorie controlled diet could prove helpful, as well as less shopping and food prep time. Thus more time for gym, walks, craft, etc.

Thanks @BlueBay . Surgery is scheduled for this Thursday. Can't wait to finally have the gallbladder out.
