This has been going on for so long and WH is so self-righteous about it - oh wow!!!

And D3 seems to have the same outlook - that is something else for you to need faith and hope about

Thank you for your empathy. I really appreciate it .....

It seems that the issues with the kids have a lot to do with inherited personality traits and how our parenting and hone environment, including interactions with extended family and schooling have influenced them ..... meaning that it's not entirely clear and simple .....

I have no doubt that the kids have inherited strengths and weaknesses from both of us, however I also have no doubt that exposure to WH's regimen for the last few years is impacting on their inherent personalities and mindset.

We are on a learning journey here, like it or not, but resolution in the form of diagnosis of WH's e.d., along with the underlying issues driving it, is still my primary focus, as it is so wearing and destructive .... living with it could only ever be on borrowed time.

I have no idea how this is going to pan out, so I can't focus on that. I can only focus on what I can do ..... and that is to mentally consider what sort of questions might be asked, and prepare my ideas and thoughts to cater as best I can. It's really up to the dr after that.

I think my mother had a co-dependent MI of some kind - and my sister either inherited it or copied it - but talk about carrying the problem down for another generation - wow - and like you - I look back up the tree and remember what I heard said when I was a child - yes - it comes down from our ancestors

Is there anyway out? Probably not - like you said - you can only choose your own behaviour and deal with details as they work their way out. Do you have any idea what set WH off? I know he was over-weight and a workaholic but there must have been something before that - there is no need to answer that - just say if you have any idea what came before the horse - so to speak
