Hey @Faith-and-Hope First day for weeks today that I haven't been in constant pain 👍 I have slept most of the day though so that might be helping. I haven't been able to sleep properly for weeks either so having a longer sleep today has been great. I still do not have full function in my left leg and haven't heard anything in regards to my work cover, so still cannot re-book the appointments I need. Not looking forward to going back to work next week but I will chat to my Principal on Monday and see what we can put in place to help a little. My GP has given me a list of things I cannot do - which is going to be hard - but I have no doubt my Principal will support me ...and of course my kids are gorgeous so they will help.
How are you Hon? Are you back in the west yet?

Good to hear that your pain levels have reduced @Zoe7 🎉 and I am glad you have the confidence you do in your Principal. That must be very reassuring.
Back in the west and have found my mojo to start back into my uni work. So much to do …..

I am so happy you have found a little motivation Hon 🎨 I am sure you will catch up and really begin to start enjoying the processes again @Faith-and-Hope Once we immerse ourselves in the things we love then life is just that little bit better 💕 I had some unexpected news today - good news - but I cannot put it into this open forum. I so wish I could share with you but all I can say it is about a piece of my art being chosen for something quite big. It is a bit surreal but I feel very honoured.

@Faith-and-Hope @TAB @Eve7 @Snowie @Shaz51 Finally approved this week for having an MRI and the first neurologist consult. MRI done and neurologist in 2 weeks. I see my GP in another week also so I should have some answers from the MRI then. The pain is unbearable at times but the pain killers help a lot. My kids at school are amazing. They have been helping with everything (even when I have not asked them to do so - so many times they have collected things we need before I have asked 💕). I had a teary (me) chat to them on Friday to let them know how much I appreciated every single one of them and how much I cared about them. Sometimes it is important to let them know those things (even though they already know) but I am so proud of how far they have come and also how much care and support such young little humans give to each other and myself.

Glad you got approved @Zoe7 Hopefully it can give you some answers and why you are in so much pain. It's good the pain killers are helping, but I understand that is only for the short term. Something needs to be worked out for the long term.
It's no surprise that your kids are helping you out so much. It would have a lot to do with the influence you have on them and your teachings. Kids get it, they wouldn't be doing all this if they didn't care about you.
Sending much love to you hon 💗

Thanks Hon 💙 Pain killers are not a long term 'solution' especially when one of them I can only have after work as they sometimes make me feel very unwell for a short time before they kick in @Snowie

Wow @Zoe7
That does not sound good at all - I am glad you have had an MRI and that you are seeing a neurologist - that is progress - I guess -
Have you been able to see a pain specialist - it's not easy to find one and they cost a lot - there are plenty in Melbourne - alas - I have a contact in Hobart who actually flies to Melbourne to see one - so best you take the path you are already on. It's not easy.
All the best again

Don't need a pain specialist just yet @Owlunar2 - just need to find out what is going on and have a plan moving forward to fix it (hopefully). Back to my GP next week and the neurologist the week after so not too long to wait now.
