um the rules are really specific. @PeppyPatti have to get enough points and enough in the one basket for disability, which also has to be resolved (one way or another) and if your GP hasnt done an application before , your chances are around zero I have a list of conditions which GPs poo poo/ignore , say you cant have pain if some others with similar conditions dont. Got cut off strong painkillers, serious, diagnosed back conditions now called 'back pain' also heart problems, weight problems(prob enough to get pension on weight alone now lol) arthritis in feet , lower back, upper back, gout, tennis elbow, hernia, diverticulitis, torn meniscus both knees, alcoholism, depression, anxiety, thyroid problems, was put on 15hrs /wk work capacity like 6 years ago when heart was better weighed 30% less, knees undiagnosed etc. think there was a pay rise recently for people with under 15 hrs work capacity of like $50/wk wonder if could get an hour taken off ha ha lol am still on $180 per fortnight less than DSP, was way more , but dole has gone up a fair bit over last 2-3 years as opposed to not at all for last 20 years.
there are traps with inheritance supposedly on how you do it, but
they did hassle me about proof of having bought house though. Which I thought was pretty stupid of them as why would I pretend to buy a house, losing nearly $200/fortnight rent relief? The Ways of Cenno..

okay just refreshed memory re free travel, it was WA only thing, so get free metro travel here,on seniors card, (which get 5 years sooner than WA) but no use to me as live in country ok get concession on bus, not tried it yet.
interstate pension card holders get 50% off in WA (for the 2 trips presumably, which WA'ers get for free) @PeppyPatti and re all health stuff was ar really bad DES provider last year, they wanted me to go work at Smelter ,said I would lose some weight (and have heart attack and die, but not their problem..) anyway got 3 years and 9 months til can get age pension so cenno will save around $25,000 by not letting me on DSP and get still get the thrill of cutting me off and threatening to cut me off
new rules in place now have heard, max sick cert for cenno is 2 years now, not 3 months, so after couple more visits at DES job place (better one) and if they dont get me any sort of half decent job which is likely, then will sick cert up til get age pension, they can go to Hell
