Re: Everything music
I know @TAB Sad but true LOL
The rooftop lounge at dusk, the call to prayer on the breeze, rose tobacco in the nargile and Elma chia.
5am starts 30min boat ride, 2km hike across the isthmus. Then 10km hike straight up to the Roman road, behind the ancient Roman bathhouse. Found my first piece of Roman glass there.

Re: Everything music
..I thought I was jealous of a country @Glisten
Ex was/ is a connoisseur of Turkish men.
I just happened to have a 'look' ,well for some who thought they weren't remotely Turkish . She is in late 70s now, and trotting around Turkey for the last time as we speak.

Re: Everything music
@TAB was your ex an older woman who broke your heart?
Did your ex mean that you are short, dark with fine facial features?
A bit of a false generalisation. On two occasions I thought a guy looked Australian. I was wrong.
In Istanbul the women are quite tall.
The only Turkish men I was interested in, were the ones in the tombs. That’s not true, I was more interested in the tomb text. Lol
The sea water is the colour of Powerade blue. I was asked by a local in Kas why I could swim so well. I said “Sharks”. Lol

Re: Everything music
@TAB I wouldn’t take too personally mate. The lifestyle in some parts of Turkey is pretty damn good.
The locals are hospitable and food is good.
But if you need specialist medical attention, then there is no place like home.
You’re ex is a braver woman than I. Turkey isn’t in the best political climate right now.
