Saturday night parties common I guess. Really wonderful of you to have planned bird attracting trees. You must feel really settled there @Adge.
I went shopping this arvo, needed scripts, so dropped in Aldi too. Icy cold wind out. Took dog, she's loves our little trips.

Apparently people with dogs get more exercise.

Jelly Cat does not want to go for a walk....

I tried walking around the big park, down the street (this afternoon).

Out of desperation, to get out somewhere (anywhere).

Had to give up (this time), I felt far too fatigued - after only a short walk.

I've not been for a drive (trip out) anywhere, this past week - just nearby shopping trips (doesn't count).

I've run out of time now, as I'm returning to work now - a few work shifts coming up this week.

Feel like a total failure/ washout - no restful (proper) holiday, not refreshed.

Oh dear @Adge, sounds a bit gloomy for you. And what's the fatigue? Do you think you'll cope with work? What would you do if they pensioned you off? Is there any family you could go stay with a while? Then again who would feed birds + Jelly Cat? I donno, try focus on the good things. Dr Phil says we need to stop once a day and list 20 things in our life we are grateful for 😲 yep, 20. Keep trying @ Adge, and so will I. Hope work goes well 💙

Yes I do wish to sing, I'm looking for my Song....

I'm waiting for a severe storm - RAC Red Weather Alert, strong winds of up to 100km per hour (they said).

It's 3 hours late (hasn't come yet). Was supposed to come at 4.00pm, it's now 7.00pm.

Sometimes they don't get their predictions right.

So either it will come in the middle of the night - or maybe it won't come at all.

Tough day.

Still have not been out anywhere (for a drive or trip) - since about 7 days ago, except around the corner to shops.

I did buy one nice new Canary (on impulse) this afternoon - so that was the highlight.

He is a lovely Orange, with Brown wings (very pretty).

Yep well I didn't get to go away or do any nice trips anywhere, during my time off (supposed holidays) - at least I get to have nice Canaries singing, to wake up to in the morning.

Good company, very cheering.

14 Canaries singing away - well not all singing.

There are a few female canaries - they don't sing.

The males have to sing, to get a female canary to take notice of them.

I made enquiries at Bird Shop, 2 weeks ago.

They're Fischer's Lovebirds - which is the Smaller Relative of Shaz's Peachface Lovebird (Avatar) Picture.
