Imagine my surprise when I counted 9 Budgies in the small aviary today - instead of the 3 Budgies I had.

6 extras! I knew they were sitting on eggs, but 6 new budgies all at once...

I got quite a shock. I don't know how I didn't see them in there (out of the nest) last week.

Unless they've all somehow come out of the nest at once.

It shows how much I'm (not) in touch with things, at the moment. I haven't had that sort of thing, or surprise happen in over 10 years.

I now have 9 Budgies, instead of 3...

Hi @Adge, My birds, put some greenery in for them. They live in the bathroom these days. Cooler in there too. 

Anymore changes with your birds?

Hi @Former-Member Your birds look happy, from pictures.

Greenery sounds good, mine don't have any (inside).

The 6 young Budgies (babies) make my small aviary rather crowded, so I need to put them elsewhere. I haven't worked out where yet....

I love my orange canaries, they are so bright & colourful (in the aviaries).
