Thanks, @Patches59 yeah you're so right - little street kitties need good homes, and the workshop is perfect for little Spanner Cat (she is yet to get a name from the mechanics, but I'll call her Spanner Cat for now 🙂), she fits right in.
When she was found, they thought she was black... when they put her in the parts wash bay and gave her a gentle clean, she was such a gorgeous ginger! 🐈
The team are looking forward to her helping out with the rodent situation, and even if she doesn't like that job, there's lots of other jobs she can do, like announcing lunch time with a loud meow, curling around ankles when its home time, and providing customer support for bill-shock haha 😉

Thanks @Patches59 Yes, Asami Puss meowing to me (from a distance), for a Pat or Cuddle, is a new thing.
My other 2 Cats, Jelly & Pepper, only meow to Signal that they want me to let them outside (open the door), not for a Pat.
I've had Asami eating Chicken Treat dry Crunchies out of my hand - That helped a lot to gain her trust.

@Shaz51 @Former-Member @Adge @Jynx my parents had various types of pets so I grew up around animals.
my first cat, I was early primary school, was a rescue kitten. Family few houses down from my family home had female cat who had litter of kittens. Instead of trying to find them homes the father of the family decided to dispose of the kittens in the bay. My dad saved entire litter of kittens by talking the guy out of drowning the kittens, with majority taken to animal shelter.
my girl was light grey tabby with grey eyes. Side effect of medication she was given as an old cat brought out brown shades in her coat.
her favourite thing was to walk down side of my dads car against the windows, windows fully wound closed. Her small feet and frame the name Tinkerbell suited her
